Lubu's R1. Despite being difficult to aim, its cool to c him grabbing the enemy and smash him/her to the ground causing the shockwave. Caopi's C6-ex (requires R1 to be executed)= laser rain of DOOM. Perform it at the right timing and it could kill the strongest officers in one hit even on chaos.

The Honda Truck. It knocks people away, makes him stronger, faster, and refills his life gauge. While, it being albeit on the cheap side, it's still very useful. Second to Honda would be Shin Orochi. I never liked getting caught in it much, but it's cool to use. |

Sun Ce's is pretty cool and efficient, though it's annoying when the enemy is just out of reach and you end up being vulnerable. Mitsuhide's is down right cheap...you could easily clear stages doing nothing but R1. Nagamasa's is pretty damn cool and fits with his character. |

Cao Pi. C6ex. This move has some sort of sweet spot that if things are set up just right, it can 1-shot just about any officer, including Lu Bu. I'm using him now and he's not even max level, yet still he can one shot final bosses with this move. I'd like this move even more if it consumed less musou, but oh well. |

Well, I can't remember everyone's, but off the top of my head, two of my faves are: Ginchiyo's - She does this super jump, then comes crashing down to the ground at lightning speed. It does a good deal of damage, even on Hard. Fantastic PWNAGE. ![]() Kunoichi's - I think this is self-explanatory...

Tech: Yukimura - Hands down this is the most destructive R1 Special for officer slaying in the game when used properly. I can spam this in pile ups (Wu 7X anyone?) and clean house in a matter of seconds. Speed: Mitsunari - His R1 is like getting his by a semi head on. Great for wiping out crowds, excellent with his C4 against officers. Power: Ginchiyo - Some may not like the supposed lack of range but it has always worked like a charm for me in any situation. The "Sonic Boom" sound that comes with it makes it so sweet! Other notable ones: Ieyasu, Tadakatsu, Cao Cao's 2, Magoichi, Keiji, Sun Quan. |

I just maxed Yukimura the other day and I had forgotten how awesome his R1 was in the original WO. They really gimped him in WO2

I agree Mr. Honda, it definately entered the Suck Zone for WO2. Yukimura will always be a BAMF but his bread'N'butter in WO1 without a doubt was his R1 special. Not so much in WO2 though... I also think, to a lesser extent, they watered down Tadakatsu's R1 in WO2. Simply pressing that button made him easily the most broken character in WO1, not to say that it didn't have a similiar effect in WO2 but it just never seemed to make him so untouchable. |

I really like Zhou Tai's combo 3C + R1 (stand)... it does a lot of damage... But Masamune both R1(stand or moving) are a great combo complement Ling Tong R1 (stand) is good to do combo too, after his C3. It can be almost infinnity (can't it?):D |

Mitsunari one is the best for me, after him i will say Tadakatsu Honda again. You can easily clear a whole area just with those two R1 attacks, i must say i like Cao Cao one too, it is perfect to face a strong opponent. |

Xiao Qiao's F+R1 ~ Apart from the noise that makes me laugh- great for wrapping up combos & clearing enemies. Zhen Ji's F+R1 ~ I personally think this is the best R1 ( for speed characters ) great for making flashy combo's + slows enemies down a bit. Works wonders on those massive orochi officers that seem to plow through almost anything (apart from power characters obviously). Using this on them lets me finish what I'm doing with ease. I always use this in combos. Zhang He F+R1 ~ Who needs a horse when you have this... I joke! but still, great for getting places if you don't want to use a horse. His standing R1 is also a good setup for jump+charge combo. + can be inserted anywhere and It doesn't seem to stop the combo. They would be my current faves. |

Care to share any reasons why? Its been so long I can't remember all of his specials. I know one of them detonated his Yin Yang symbols left after certain attacks, which I didn't find all that useful

Not really. Agility 10 helps to make the margain of difference smaller, but in the original WO, it activated much faster and there was no recovery lag. From my experience with WO2 (PS2) and from comments made by Tetsuo (who's played more Yukimura than I'll ever play), it was altered enough to make it less effective than in the original. It still is a beastly move, but toned down a bit, for balance most likely. |

As long as his R1 continues to have elemental hits and effectively instagibs with it, he's going to be as good as he ever gets. I'm not exactly sure why you'd put Agility on Yuki in the first place. He uses Bolt, Flash, Slay, Air, Brave, Multi, Absorb, Might. Edited by theinsanething, Wed Apr 14, 2010 10:38 pm.

I agree. I was just commenting on how Agility 10 could make up for the lag by speeding it up slightly. I wouldn't use it either though since the other attributes are far more valuable. In any event, his R1 is still an officer killer. |
