Posts: 3,638 Group: Members Member #9,265 Joined: August 19, 2007 Gender Male	My first loss come quite quickly actually, I played the Wei story first, in just the 2nd or 3rd...early in the game where Sun Ce tries to flee undone me in minutes. I didn't expect him to take off quickly and took my time trying to carry my army and Quan to him, got to Ranmaru and just defeated him and it was over with him fleeing shortly after. Then on a replay I charged him and it was over in just 3 minutes, what an anticlimax... :rolleyes:

My most embarrasing loss was at Koshi Castle, I was Zhuge Liang and he's special item popped up, but my commander was getting hammered by Orochi and by the time I got the item and went back to help him, he was slain by a simple peon. The AI can be dumb sometimes. <_<

KOEI Warriors Unifier Posts: 1,757 Group: Members Member #7,496 Joined: May 22, 2007	I died the first time ever when I switched to Xing Cai on normal of all things in the 2nd stage for Shu. Got surrounded and then poked to death. Speed characters suck defensively at lower levels. Just recently I lost for the second time fighting as Zhao Yun on Shu's 7-X stage. Got stuck in a peon crowd with no musou to counter with and hit with a continous stream of pokes. But other than losing when the weak commander dies those are the only 2 I can remember.

It is almost the end of the level and I went to fight Lu Bu... alone. He flung Cornpops far back, so I switched to Ce before he could stab Cornpops with his shiney halberd.... lets just say I'm glad I saved it before fighting Lu Bu... because he kicked Ce's butt seven ways to Sunday. The first time I lost Wei's Hei Fei Castle (Chaos) Cao Pi LVL 70 Pang Tong LVL 73 Zhang Liao LVL 75 Lets just say Cao Cao + Orochi = Big No No
	Because I CAN Mah Boy, this is what all Wu warriors strive for!

I normally don't touch the chaos difficulty until at least 1 person in my party is 99 and close to a perfect weapon. You remind me of drewthedude, who can actually beat levels on chaos with level 20 characters. The first time I died was only on hard and my chars. were already above level 40. P.S. Lu Bu C1 grabbed me during Gaiden 7 of SW Stories (And I had done everything PERFECTLY to impress Honda) and kills me while I'm playing as Hideyoshi. 2. Gaiden 7 against Tadakatsu, his scream K.O'd me while I was playing as Maeda.

Here comes the finale! Posts: 120 Group: Members Member #9,625 Joined: September 11, 2007	the first time i was beaten was at Wu stage 8. i was killing things normally... i just killed Lu Bu and was going to attack Orochi when "the commander is struggling" Message came up.. and i thought "ill just ingnore it, Orochi is almost dead".. at that time. Sun Jian came running in and was killed in one blow by Orochi.. god damn it i was mad!

I was attempting to get their fourth weapons, never got them in the end because the stage was only two stars - I forgot, and in the north-west garrison there was the Shimazu family killing everyone... I went to go and kill them but they all attacked me all at once and Xiao Qiao's life went down quickly. I didn't have a chance to switch characters... So I was killed. Stupid Shimazu family... First time I lost was when I was playing Koshi Castle, easy mode and stupid Sun Jian got killed by Orochi. I was doing really well, as well, Lu Bu killed and everything. But Sun Jian wouldn't leave Orochi alone! <_<

Since I'm basically doing solo runs with each character to fullfill their requirements, Hard mode is making this very difficult to do so with certain characters. <_< The most recent attempt was/is Dong Zhuo & his personal item. He just doesn't defeat people fast enough (Sakon, Xiao & Okuni in 5min w/ DZ :rolleyes: ) & he keeps taking massive amounts of damage <_< Sakon laid me out flat the first time I tried this.

Dong Zhuo's C2 spam just wasn't lethal enough even though I had a +20 attack 4th weapon and he was leveled up decently (40ish, as I recall). I'd suggest those buffs unless that would ruin the fun of making Dong Zhuo handle it all by himself.
