His moves are very awesome, I can stop enjoy playing him in SW2XL and WO2. To be honest, I prefer Katsuie x Oichi than Nagamasa x Oichi. A lot of people may disagree with me especially Nagamasa fan girls but that's what I think, after all it was Katsuie that she loved.

He went from being an immature officer of Oda in SW2 to a deep individual in SW2XL. He may lose in the end, but burning in a building for his ending is Bitchin'.

Madridista Posts: 944 Group: Members Member #10,840 Joined: November 6, 2007 Gender Male	I wouldn't say the old Katsuie was "immature" just a meathead, whether purposely or not, he came across as something straight out of a Warner Bros. cartoon, I could just picture him yelling "I'll get you next time Nagamasa! just you wait!" But I'm glad they changed him in XL and made him into the awesomeness he is now. I demand they keep his explosion skill in SW3 he's a walking killing machine with it.

Kenshin: "He doesn't even realise it's a trap? What idiocy! facepalm" Yep, that pretty much sums up SW2's Katsuie. Had they kept him like that in SW2XL, he would be viewed as another Yoshimoto. Appearance-wise, he's one of my favorites in the series. His costume is nice and simple, and not overdecorated or something. The traditional samurai hair style also looks nice on him. I didn't mind his looks in Kessen 3 either and I'm hoping he has his K3 helmet in SW3.

His story mode was kinda weird. Nagashino was before Odani, and the worst part, no Tedorigawa. The whole thing about his time is over, that wasn't bad. I like the part when Nobunaga said that he had to witness the end of an era at Nagashino.

She needs a real man! Haha, but really, I just think he deserves some love. I mean, he does so much, bet she never shuts up about Nagamasa and it annoys me. His moveset is pretty awesome, in my opinion, and I can kick some a** with him once he's leveled up, but the first few times are always a bit rough for me until he gets more combos and whatnot. I wouldn't say he has the best MS, but it's up there.

The illest shorty Posts: 589 Group: Members Member #10,409 Joined: October 17, 2007	I don't know Katsuie all that well, but I quite like what I know of him from Warriors Orochi 2 and watching SW2:XL cut scenes on YouTube. I have a soft spot for gruff 'n scruff men with a gentlemanly side, and his WO2 move set is fun as hell. Beware his axes indeed. I also share the admiration for his simple, straightforward character design. I can't give an informed opinion on how traditional his outfit is, but it comes off that way to me, especially because his hairstyle has a characteristic shaved pate.

I haven't played SW2:XL, so I don't really know a lot about him, but I'm definitely gonna be playing as him in SW3. His moveset is probably one of my favorite.

Katsuie Shibata: ''Keep your condescending thoughts to yourself, Mitsuhide!'' Joking aside, I'm not too bothered about the story cuts personally. We do have new characters and stories after all. And we know there's a good chance we'll see these stories back again. And besides we still have the characters, so they weren't just completely scrapped like Musashi was; plus these being still unique. And FYI I'm also a bit upset with no story for him.
