I have King's Quest VII: The Princeless Bride and I think that one works on my computer still but I haven't touched it in a long time so I am not totally sure now. :XD

I wasnt looking to argue about this :P because Im horrible when it comes to reliable info. But of cource learning something can be different for some people, so there is no hardest language, its just opinion.
but according to this, http://www.lexiophiles.com/english/top-list-of-the-hardest-languages-to-learn
English is #9, while Spanish, French and Italian arnt even in there ;)
Of course different people have different predispositions and backgrounds, so there isn't something that goes for everyone. Anyway I was stating facts, not opinions. If you read what I wrote, I mentioned characteristics that objectively make a language harder to learn, like genders and plurals for adjectives, articles, participles, etc., many tenses and others. For example, English has just a definite article, that goes for every gender and number, and two indefinite articles. Italian has six definite articles and three indefinite ones, depending on the gender and number, that go also for things ("sedia", "chair", takes feminine articles, adjectives, etc., while "tavolo", "table", takes masculine ones). I'm sure that this would be enough to keep anyone who wants to learn Italian (or other languages with similar features) busy for a while.
If we want to speak about tenses, English uses the infinitive form of verbs for everything in the present tense, except the 3rd person present singular, where you usually have just to add the suffixes -s or -es. When you use Italian, you conjugate everything according to tense, mood, person, and number (example with the present tense of "fare", "do": Io faccio/I do, tu fai/you do, egli fa/he does, noi facciamo/we do, voi fate/you do, essi fanno/they do). I could mention many other examples, but I've already written a lot, moreover they would be more difficult to explain.

...That, and you can trust the opinion of fellow members who don't have English as their first language and maybe learnt more than one ^_~.

That pretty much sounds like arabic as well. verbs are way to complicated here, be it past, present or future you some letters to it depends on many things.. genders, numbers, times, etc..

Even the words, mine, his her and them are letters you add to both verbs and nouns. Heh, even arabians use arabic dictionaries and require explainations when reading poems, as it's a VERY flexible language :-\

@Zero Kuran: That's what makes it easy IMO, you just have to learn one word and you can use it for more than a meaning, in Arabic it's the other way around. Lots of words, many meanings, and even one word can have lots of meanings as well.

Surprisingly, I remember having the same problem when playing that game... getting lost in the desert. I had no clue to what I was doing in the game anyways so it really didn't make a difference but that was at least 10 years ago when I actaully played the game I think.
