My aunt is dumping her son on me for March break. <_< She told me I would only have to look after him for an hour on tuesday. Then she calls me saying that I have to look after him Mon-fri, 9:00-9:00, BECAUSE she says she wants some time off from him. I tried saying that Its my time off, I need a break and some dman sleep but she started saying its my responsibility to look after him, WHEN ITS HER CHILD! <_< I'm so pissed right now.
Go take him to see a rated R movie :hehe: teach him to play bloody knuckles, and use him to steal gum from a store. Then maybe she will think twice before handing him over to you again
Even though I'm a parent, I had to LOL :XD

I can kind of relate to this in a way.

The stress of parenthood can get to you, especially if the parents don't get to do things alone anymore, such as going out on dates.

Taking a week off (for example, going on a trip for an anniversary) is not uncommon. Taking a night here and there is also normal, in fact I'd go so far as to say its necessary if the parents want to keep their marriage strong. You just have to balance it and not abuse those willing to help.

However, if this occurred too frequently, then I would ask why even have kids if you don't want the responsibility -_-
You could always just wait til the kids are asleep to do your business :shifty:

I'm always on vacation. My school is in a hot climate with no humidity, the girls wear practically nothing, schoolwork is a joke, and you can pretty much find a party every night.

Lol true :XD I really can't stand chidren though o.o I like my own space and peace and quiet far too much. I kid would just ruin that and drive me to complete insanity :\ All the crying and nappy changing and feeding and attention *shudders* :( There's no way I could deal with that at all.... I guess some people just aren't cut out to be parents =I

It would go something like this:
Kid: Me wanna play!
Me: GET LOST! I'm playing a video game <.<

It makes sense for younger girls and people who are still attending school because once you have kids that early your life is pretty much over. Raising kids is a full time responsibility and it costs lots of money. Most pregnant teens drop out of school to take care of their kids. I think that's enough to make someone scared.

You are my twin, Kimmy; I am the EXACT same way about kids. I was once a babysitter, and MAN when I tell you that it was the worst job ever, it really was. Children + Nocon = really bad times.

I hope I never have children; I couldn't do it.

I worked at a daycare for 3 years with at least 24 screaming toddlers at once and loved it. The job itself wasn't always the best when it came to the screaming, hitting, biting, kicking, and potty training which made it very stressful but it was rewarding in the end to know that I can take care of children in a very nurturing and loving way and be better prepared when my time comes to have kids of my own. =)

Silly Selli :P of course. Its one of the worst pains anyone can go through. Some men say its the equivalent to having a kidney stone(which is as painfull as heck) but who are they kidding, giving birth has got to be way more painfull. You got a freakin kid coming out of your you know what :o yikes!

I think giving birth would probably be much more painful. I've had 2 kidney stones myself so I know the pain unfortunately quite too well. It literally feels like you're getting stabbed in the back with a knife. You have to take some serious pain medication too cause it really is unbearable. The worst part is peeing the stones out because that can hurt as well and also the sight of blood coming out of a place you never want it to come out.
