One thing worries me is that the R1 specials might be all gone since the R & L will most likely to be used for changing characters.
Looks like musou attacks will be back to rise again.  :D

I don't own a PSP, but looking at one, I would say that the specials will remain the same (R button) but to switch characters, you'll use the directional pad while controlling movement with the analog ... just a guess though ^_^

Sounds about right!

Agreed, and L will remain block/strafe and select will be map zoom.

What about calling your horse? Again, just a guess but maybe Select will remain calling your horse & one of the directions (Up or Down) could be the map zoom?

Um... I think the specials are now programmed using the left and right dpad, like they did with the abilities in Vol.2 and 1

I don't know I hope left, right dpad is for swapping characters lol then L is guard, R is map zoom, Up dpad is for special, Down dpad is to call horse, haha it's kinda possible/impossible - impossible is because it'll be quite unorganized?

Your damn right! I've never really enjoyed the PSP titles due to the fragmented map style they had in the past, and there is simply no chance I'd do everything on the former PSP titles.

Although full map and more full version aspects in a PSP title is great news, this will certainly become the best Warriors title on PSP with this new feature if you ask me. ^_^

Those collectors who buy every single KOEI titles, or like Chin said, they just want to own a portable version of the game.

I'm definitely getting it if there's any sort of new features or something different, disappoint on the "no new characters" already.

It can't be the exact of copy of the PS2 version (hope not).

That didn't stop people from buying Vol. 2.

Well sure it ain't. There's multiplayer for starters.

They should (if possible) add:
1. additional costumes
2. challenge mode?
3. survival mode?

but how will they fit in all in the UMD disk? Is there enough space for additional stuff?

I think the new feature will be ad-hoc wireless online battle. :)

hey
maybe if a lot of fans buy this game.......
they might change all the psp musou version into a full map like orochi one. coz if a game with 77 characters and also 3 characters can be played at the same time can do this, why can't the others do it?

I must say they've "explored" the full map function or codes so in the future PSP Musou games, I'm sure they'll be all in full map, else KOEI is going down because of that.

Improving --> Improving --> til the best.

 @ Chin ... if I had a PSP, that would be my reason for getting this game. I always hate having to pause the game to use the restroom <_< especially in mid-level.

I know the PS2 & Xbox 360 versions have some slowdown with the number of allies/enemies on the screen at once, does the PSP suffer from that as well in other musou titles?

Yeah yeah yeah!!! I will save my money for PSP!!!!! Looks like the story line is same. Great graphic, looks better and different from the previous!!! There are 2 costumes. I saw Zhao Yun with red costume (looks like it's him), look at left page, lowest screenshot. The area will be full of fog I think, just like in 2 player mode.

Maybe KOEI just copied it from PS2 with Multiplayer as additional. KOEI is King of Laziness.

I have a PSP ever since it was released in the UK about 3 years ago and it still works. :D

I agree, I didn't expect this is happen at all. My g/f was wondering if she were to get a DS or a PSP, now I told her that Orochi is coming to PSP, there is a good chance she might get a PSP now.

Shame I only have a DS at the moment and i'm already saving my funds for a next-gen system.

This COULD be a good chance to add an "OROCHI Army" Story Mode for kicks. but it probably won't happen...

:o Ohhhhhh KOEI PLEASE don't use that kind of system AGAIN!
My heart will break so hard if they do :(

Talking about new characters, I rather like to create my own character when I get bored of using the original characters :P
But I don't think KOEI will add that...
