I cannot do any mass in those 2 topics because I am still just member here. However, I can create new topics just to prevent any further mess. Please as any technical issues (eg. Cannot install DWO, Cannot type Japanese, or any other computer issues that related to DWO) here! Also, if you can't login to the game, get lag, or whatever... also ask here! I asked ZYTD this and also BuddHA0991 but if I can clear space on my pc to seven gigabytes, will I be able to play this game? And will I be able to still type in English in the game or is everything in Japanese? Thanks to anyone who can help me, this game looks so awesome and I really want to play it but I don't see a point in downloading it if it won't work for me  Edit: I also just looked in the guide thread of how to have japanese on your pc, unfortunatley for me I have no clue where my windows XP disk is (or what it is lol), If Japanese is installed on my pc then will it translate all japanese files that I download? |

Wow... 7 GB... Well... Installation Folder (SSMOInstaller) Used... 2.00 GB (2,156,987,956 bytes) The Game Folder (Shin SangokuMusou Online) Used... 4.79 GB (5,144,804,206 bytes) Which means that you need 6.79 GB in your HDD in total in order to complete the installation. Even you removed the 2.00 GB installation folder, you still have only about 2.20 GB (or even less) in your drive and with that space left, it will be so risky to play this game as the Pagefile size will go up so fast while this game is running... I think you can play but you will have to run at LOWEST setting, CANNOT take any screenshots or record video or anything else... nor you cannot install anything else into your computer. Also, since this is online game. That's mean there will be patches! Usually each patch will add the size of the game, various from 2 MB to beyond 300 MB per patch for this game! Therefore, you may not able to play for long due to patches make the game size larger... x.x I think you should get another HDD, you will experience this game better than your current HDD space situation. Yeah i know, I have a crap computer lol  But I'm running into trouble with the Japanese translation program, is there another way to get it on my pc? I tried to download the game file and all info shows up as ?????????????????????? Is there a way to avoid this and have actual words show up? Or is this why I need the translation program lol Thanks again if you can answer my issues

To make "?????" turns into "Japanese characters" you have to make your computer into Japanese... That guide is just make to make the DWO running without the "Japanese Language" error pop-up. However, it does NOT make the "?????" in other things disappear. (Only in Windows, but not in game. In game, it will show Japanese as long as you follow that guide) To make "?????" disappear you need...

ummm, just one problem...Japanese is missing from the list!!! Is that my computer's fault?  Edit: Just found how to get Japanese files, but it will take up 230 Megabytes, is this really essential to me getting the game? |

Unfortunately, you need to use THAT MUCH (for Japanese fonts) in order to run the game... Seriously, get new HDD... your HDD space is just really scary for me. Or you may install the game then delete installation file, and install Japanese text last. However, as I said, there will be patches overtime. Eventually, 2 GB left space will eat up so fast that you will ending up with uninstall it... x.x Sincerely, Pan2007 (December 2nd, 2007) |

Phew... though you have ONLY 7 GB left. 12 GB? Hmm... well at least you still have spaces for those Pagefiles, Swap files, and stuffs. This game is not really patch as often so far. It is really depending on the company that how often they wanted to add features to the game. Sometimes not really patch at all, while there can be tons of patches in certain period. Even you have 12 GB, this is not really good shape of space. You can run game fine with that space, but bewarned though. There will be Chatlogs and ScreenShots that can take more spaces. Chatlogs don't really take up space, but ScreenShots do. Therefore, you probably cannot take a lot of ScreenShots from the game with that space (1 SS = about 2 MB at least). Thank you so much for helping me! I may download the game to trial it but then if it doesn't work properly then I'll just delete it, I know I seriously need a new hard drive, some of my friends have like 80 gigabytes or something like that which is so much more than me! lol Thanks for answering my questions! ps. Why does the word answer have a 'w' in it? It's so strange lol  Edit: I'm so sorry but I have encountered a problem, I need the Windows XP disk to load the Japanese language files however... 1. I don't know what the disk is 2. I have no clue where this disk may be Is there another way to load the language files? |

yay same problem here. I think it was 2 months ago when I installed xp, a window popped up saying if u wanted to install east Asia langueges and my little sister pressed no because she was mad at me
. (Back on topic) ok here are basic statistics of my deedeedee pc lol 128mb RAM-omg i failed in this category 15GB(of space)-ok i guess graphic card -dont know much of it Overall-I NEED HELP and also a new pc

My Ps2 controller doesn't work with DWO.It's strange,because I use it in every game on PC without problems...any idea?

Alright, here is my technical problem. It seems noobish but hey, it's really annoying me X(. I got a 117 bit GB computer and (including the DW game) 34.7 gigs been used up that leaves us with hmm... 143 gigs left. And I got DSL (which is wireless.) which is moderatly speedy I assume. Anymoo, now the problem is... It goes kinda laggy. Especially in battle. And I don't know what to do. The only thing I can assume is it's the grafx card which is an ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 Series with an 400MH Internal DAC that's 256 MB. So far, the game should run fine and I don't run alot of programs on my computer. So can anybody gimme why my game runs slower than it should? AND..how the heck do you get an Ps2 controller on your computer? 0.0 |

I'd say its pretty much impossible to play with that kind of ram. I think you need atleast 500 or so to play but i know for sure that 128 is way to low o.o |

Well, that errors means that server got chocked up! Server is overloaded, please try to download again at the later time! Well, don't worry though, it should resume where your download left off. @Xoujiro I experience the lag myself sometimes. However, if you lag that badly, I recommanded you to set everything to LOWEST settings. I posted the images about how to set the game up BEFORE you start the game. However, you can also set the game while you are in-game by pressing F12 > 5th (機能設定) > 1st (グラフィック設定). Those settings are the same exact things as the first 3 "outside-the-game" setting tabs. @mikejaxer I noticed you were seeking help in onRPG. So this time, I go Google myself to find what is this error actually means. Based on your installation process (I looked at the bar, it seems that you ALMOST complete the installation). It seems that the installation files are fine, but your computer may not able to make the shortcut to your desktop due to account type. Then please translate the last Chinese line above the OK button because that "DefaultFeature" can be CRC error, Catastrophic Failure, or Access Denied. I am not that fluent in Chinese/Japanese...
