Soldier Posts: 2 Group: Members Member #21,328 Joined: March 19, 2009 Gender Male	Hello Every one i am new here, i also am having trouble downloading DWonline, My account is all ready made, so i am past that, It just comes down to when i go to download it form the site, After i keep clicking next it starts to load something, but after a few i get this thing that pops up, i press yes, it just try's again, if i press no it just stops and than i have to try again, I am not sure if this has been asked before, but i never had this trouble awhile back, Last time i played it was on the windows XP, i am using Windows vista, But still me and my brother would like to play, but we both have this same thing pop up on both are Computers, If someone can help or tell me what is the matter, it would really help, I would like to play with all of you as well, Please, your help would be great, I will cheek on this every few minuets to try and get this game as fast as i can. (I no my spelling is not the best, but i try my best to make it as clear as i can)

Have they blocked IP addresses ? Reason i ask this is just to register an account i had to go though a Japanese proxy to actualy connect to the website and it allow me to register I have tried a proxy on the download tool - but no success. Any clues

So, I think that you completed the installation after you started to download the SSMOStarter.EXE and installed with Setup.EXE in the folder that you set in SSMOStarter.EXE Now, the reason that you may not able to patch is either... Your internet is too slow on that time DWO Patch Server clogged up You don't have enough HDD space to hold the patch file The version 2.000 patch (The Battle of Chi Bi Episode Patch) is almost 500MB. 	My First Signature in KW... This is the best internet speed (to connect a Japanese Server) that I can get... Connect to JP Server = 175 ms - 198 ms at this speed. However, at night in USA, my internet never get this good speed...

Example: Press J attack is delayed by a few seconds, and i can only do 1 hit combo... In stead of turning around 360 degress instantly, he like loops around. Its probably the style of game play but, turning in game doesn't move with the character -'Point of View Effective' doesn't seem to do anything 'Off' same with 'Slider' option. Can you tell me where the options are from within the game? I'm using a UK pc 'Saitek' joypad. It couldn't be a UK pc joypad compatability problem with the above options not working? thanks.

Unfortunately don't think so but your best bet would probably be to press the Guard button more often which resets the view back to the look from behind. Hope this helps.

Sergeant Posts: 15 Group: Members Member #22,433 Joined: June 15, 2009 Gender Male	yea, guard button is great for that ... aside from the fact that you need to slowdown for about 1 second when you do it (which sucks in certain pvp situations i assume ... i use radar to "see"... and then i struggle with the "change radar zoom type" button and press it a lot because i get alerts that switch out of "zoom" every 2 seconds sometimes ....... -.-;; )

It doesn't even start installing it, it just doesn't even begin the download at all. The error that comes up won't show up even with japanese words enabled on my comp but either way it says yes or no.When I hit yes it continues to try to load up the downloader (or whatever it's doing) and then the popup comes up again. Rinse repeat. eventually I hit yes and it just stops and I have to reopen theinstaller.

I changed the computer language to japanese, and even tried chinese but again the error pops up and doesn't let me get the installer. I would appreciate any help. EDIT: I got the game workin. I think the only think that needs to be done is to have a folder with a japanese name and the path u save the game needs to be like: C:/(japanese folder) . If that alone doesn't work change your pc unicode to japanese and do the same, the setup is gonna work then. Edited by Yukouji, Sep 2 2009, 09:30 AM.

He cannot play a battle for more than 20-30 seconds before being disconnected. Clash, practice or farm battle he gets DC'd every time. It can't be a problem with his internet, though he did recently back up his DWO folder (A week old back-up of the whole DWO folder) There have been no patches in that time, but still there might've been something that got messed up. I think that's the problem, but anyone got other ideas? This is the screen he gets every DC.

If that message appear suddenly when u are in battle then I think it is a crash game, because no one would DC everytime in battle. U should check again ur game folder, be sure not to change anything too much without backup original I think the only solution is download and install DWO again if not, check ur hardware, maybe it have a problem with soundcard or RAM.
