I am a big fan of the games and I choose for my own benefit to not download the japanese version. (It would lead to thousands upon thousands of complications for myself). Finally, I have heard some things about 2009/2010, but I was never able to confirm any of them. If you can, try to confirm them. If unconfirmable, oh well.

Start > Control Panel 1. Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options > Regional and Language Options 2. "Advance" Tab 3. Slide down and choose "Japanese" in there. 4. Click OK. 5. If it ask for Windows XP CD, you need it, put that CD into your CD drive. 6. Click Yes to restart the computer. NOTE: Make sure that you checked "Install files for East Asian Languages" in Language tab too!

Well i recently started playing, this board really helped me with some things, but there are still something i dont understand. Maybe it was mentioned in the board, maybes not, but saying it again wont hurt, will it? >w< Well anyways.. Might be a bit noob-ish question, buuuut.. how do i actually make myself 'not beginner' anymore? I heard i need like 200 War XP, then someone said to defeat some kind of 'master' or something like that, well i did meet a bodyguard and so on, i did all the quests with the red 'starter' guy aaand i dunno what to do anymore. Even if i need 200 XP then.. where is my war xp indicated anyways? And another thing ... i know i did something wrong here, i just bought a weapon and ...yeah. Cant equip the weapon i bought, why? And how can i make myself able to equip em'? And lastly for now would be, where do i get armor? There are no shops that sell them as far as i noticed or maybe i'm blind. A. Hit 200 War XP (義), then do promotion quest (Trainer NPC should notify you and direct you to do so). After that, you will be able to choose a Rank 2 weapon, so make sure that you have a slot in Weapon Shelf (MAX = 4 weapons)! About defeat the "Master" thingy... You have to do that SINCE THE FIRST INTRODUCTION TUTORIAL! (The one that your commander give the "Zhao Yun's Spear" and you following tutorial and ... you have to defeat your commander or die 3 times in a row to ends and get Grade A...) It is SUPER-UNLIKELY that you will be able to defeat the commander anyways as... 1. Rank 1 Zhao Yun's spear is WEAK (only 1 ATK and 1 DEF buff is not going to be able to hit commander that much...) 2. You don't have any piece of armor to obtain additional boosts. 3. Unless you know how to play DWO previously somehow, it is unlikely that you will be able to kill your commander easily as in console version... 4. Your commander most likely 1-hit-KO you anyways! So, unless you are the master of Zhao Yun's weapon user, never get hits with that spear in Chaos difficulty, and know DWO mechanism very well... This is unlikely to be the way to obtain 200 War XP for 99% of DWO Beginner Players... Q. Even if i need 200 XP then.. where is my war xp indicated anyways? A. Look here for more detailed about Personal Information. (Well, I know, this is quite outdated UI. I will get new SS to fill more info later...) Q. Cant equip the weapon i bought, why? And how can i make myself able to equip em'? A. Look carefully at the word Rank (ランク - ranku). You cannot use higher rank weapons until you get promoted into higher ranks... For reference, please see here. However, for quick info, I will quote it here... Quote: You can use only Rank 1 weapon at beginning. You can use Rank 2 with 200 XP (衛士), Rank 3 with 500 XP (校尉), Rank 4 with 2,000 XP (偏将軍), and Rank 5 with 10,000 XP (前将軍). Also, even you hit that particular XP, you are NOT able to use higher rank until you complete "Promotion Quest" from your commander. This means that even you have 10,000 XP, but you are somehow keep forgetting to do "Promotion Quest" (which should NOT be, as there is reminder about "Promotion Quest" to your house every time you have enough War XP to advance to next Military Rank) and you are stuck and still at Rank 衛士, you will be still only about to use Rank 2 weapon instead of Rank 5, period! I'm watching you... Posts: 117 Group: Members Member #6,343 Joined: March 27, 2007	Pan i think you need to S rank the VERY FIRST tutorial to get an automatic 200 war exp. Because I hit rank A and had to do military training on one account. But I "S" ranked the first tutorial with another account and got 200 exp. Thus, bypassing the tedious process of military training and was automatically rewarded with a level 2 weapon of my choice and 2000 war funds. What did i do to S rank the first tutorial you say? To be honest, im not sure... i think I had to defeat a generic general when he comes out and end the tutorial but what makes him appear is beyond me.

So, I will have to create NINTH account to see if anything changes... But, last time... The first tutorial was follow through tutorial, then up to the part where the officer asked to buff up and THEN ATTACK YOUR MUSOU COMMANDER. It's TRULY almost impossible without prior knowledge of DWO! I know that you can get S with that, but with the lame R1 Zhao Yun's spear, I doubt I can defeat the commander, even with like... 40 Sec Musou as the weapon is weak and hit less than 1% of the HP... I have to redo this again to see if whatever there is easier way to do one. Sincerely, Pan2007 ~ Pan2009 (September 18th, 2009)

However, I don't know how his computer loaded Diao Chan's model instead... She said, "I don't have enough trust to you." (aka. you don't have enough relationship with her.) There are 2 ways to switch: Normal Way - Do quests with THE OFFICER YOU WANT TO SERVE WITH and keep doing until you can press the 2nd option and have the "Yes" and "No" option. Quick Way - If you collect stamps for 2 months (2 boards, 60 days), then you will get the "Transmigration Orb" that you can then equip in your house. Once you obtain it, just transfer RIGHT BACK TO THE SAME FORCE YOU ARE IN PREVIOUSLY! You will NOT get penalty for this and you can reselect the officer you want to serve again this way. Well, 3 praises are not enough... Do quests as well. (It took me like 1.5 months before I can do this with 2nd option thing to transfer my Shu's PDWari from Guan Ping to Zhuge Liang) Sincerely, Pan2007 ~ Pan2009 (November 4th, 2009)

Elite Soldier Posts: 49 Group: Members Member #21,499 Joined: March 31, 2009	windows xp might have already on pc Regional and Language Options Install files for East languages You are told to insert your original Windows disk in D:i386 If you dont have the disk you can install by trping : C:\windows\i386 try Start bar -Search- i386 if not sure the drive for windows (C: is normal tho) also with the steps in quotes you might be able to avoid the cd -it says something like -can install from files already there -clicking that option. maybe try if above wont work! !havnt tried myself!! WITHOUT Microsoft Office XP http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie6/downloads/recommended/ime/install.mspx -choose JAPANESE -dropdown menue IF you have Office XP http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=CEED31CD-15A9-4B86-AFE5-E77A095599F3&displaylang=en VISTA -maybe this goto start , Control Panel , change keyboards or other input methods , click change keyboards , click add then goto japan and select microsoft IME
