hey there, sorry if i ask a question that might have already been answered, i did spend about 1h30 reading faqs topics around here today... so i put an item up for sale, now i realized that to look at the item once its for sale i go where i submited the sale .... now im wondering, do i get some sort of notification once an item is sold? and also, if i understood right theres a limit of 4 weapons on the rack but ... is there a limit to the ammount of armors or boots or consumable items i can have in my inventory? by the way, thanks to pan and everybody who helped with this guide its very useful ^^; Edited by Kage, Jun 20 2009, 07:49 AM.

Well it's possible to sell weapons clothes and items at pawn shop. When somebody buy you will receive a letter from the pawn shop seller. The red bell in top left corner means you got a letter by the way. After this just go there and talk to him. Yes there is a limit of clothes and items either. I am not sure about the limit of clothes but you can only have few pieces of clothes if you don't buy a new and bigger closet. About items you can carry 9 of each one of them. |

thanks a lot for the help Hares999, while i was looking for a way to buy musou coins (i still am looking) i figured from Pan in the faq thread that its 5 items per item type in the drawer, i did not know about the max 9 of each though, i will sure keep this fact in mind next time i sell a consumable, by the way (i did not see the notification when i got in game although i did see some text notification and the price of the sold item when i clicked on the pawn shop guy this morning) any clue where i could grab some musou coins with little fees involved? (other than the actual coin price) my account is a net marble by the way ... (does that make a difference? ) and yes im aware they cost real money ^^; (i want another weapon rack!! ... and possibly another drawer) http://www.ffxi-europe.com/ i found this site that might help me on how to make a webmoney account but im not even sure if the site is reliable or if it still works with webmoney and whatnot .... >.<; damn ...i dont wanna sell a weapon for cheap ... to the "trader" TT_TT Edited by Kage, Jun 21 2009, 12:20 AM.

I never bought musou coins in my life but I believe it is very hard to do so. If you love Dynasty Warriors Online too much I think it is worth. I don't know the procedures to buy them. You will have to ask Pan about that. |

Whoops, need help.....again The game starts downloading and after half an hour a box with OK pops up I click OK and the box goes away and a button with japanese writing and a F on it comes up i click it and the download stops is it maintenance again or bad connection I use a wireless laptop if that helps Edited by TheMightyMarkSimo, Jun 21 2009, 09:23 AM.

well it should download once unicode is set to japanese, but i did read that if the internet connection is poor (wireless internet) it might not work ^^; |

no thats not what im saying and actually im probably not understanding what the problem is... did you get to fully install the game to begin with on June 11? if so you're having a patch problem, which might still be related to your wifi or it might be something else, i read about an alternative patching method somewhere over here but i did not pay attention because, the game patches for me and no what im saying is not to use another computer. if it doesnt work with wifi, maybe if you use a lan cable to connect your computer it would work? or get closer to the wireless router or something? >.<; Edited by Kage, Jun 21 2009, 07:29 PM.

Oh I know what it is. This happened to me before. Since the new episode "The Battle at Chi Bi" patch was installed it's hard to install this game. About 2 months ago I had to reinstall this game. I tried the whole week but only on Saturday night I was able to install it. It seens the server is always full or doing maintenance so the best thing to do is to try on weekends. |

Same problem marksimpson has. Just keep trying until your computer accepts it. Note: it's highly recommended that you have high broadband connection. (Download: 1MB Upload: 250Kbps) at least this speed!!! |

You can't buy them directly from Koei's site with a credit card, but you can buy them using Japan Webmoney, which you can buy with your credit card here, Kanetrade. You also have to make an account on Alertpay; you don't need to deposit any money to them, when you order from Kanetrade, it will send you through Alertpay for payment info - at which point you choose to pay with your credit card and enter the requisite info. I did it, and it works fine though it costs a lot more, $40 for 3000 webmoney points as opposed to the about $26 it costs to buy 3000 points worth of musou coins direct from Koei. |

I don't post much here but I've been playing this DWO game for more than 2 years....here are 2 suggestions for those people who wants to play.. (1) If you have slow internet connection or using wireless to play this game, dont even bother to play in real fights, japanese players are very senstive about the lag issue, some players (i know few are in this forum) are named on a famous japanese discussion group about lagging while in real fights...if they videoed you, shows you lag, they will send the video to GM for review and get your account banned for life. Your view in the game IS DIFFERENT than other players see you in game means your little lag can be super lag from other players view...*example* 2 sec delay after hit, your character stays in air or freeze for a certain of time, someone musou you, you have stone belt effect even though you don't have that equipped (=FALL ON GROUD immediately). (2) ALWAYS, always use \tell \guild \party to talk...NEVER NEVER say other languages than Japanese in public, it's a japanese game so please respect the game environment, it's also part of the agreeement of this game too.

But wait, another problem  : When i go to "change source of funds", i select "Use Credit Card", i choose my CC & under the card information it shows my CC Balance (there is money on it). I click "continue". I'm at the page i was before now, & at "U.S. Dollars Balance" it says "0.00 USD".What do I do?

The 'balance' it refers to there is the amount of money you have deposited in your Alertpay account (if you noticed, you can deposit money with Alertpay through various means, such as mailing them a check); you do not need to have any money in your Alertpay account in order to make purchases through Alertpay - since you are using a credit card. Once you have set up your credit card as the method of payment, and filled out the other required info, you should be able to continue with your order. Once you have placed the order, you will get a confirmation email from Kanetrade with a confirmation link, once you click it, the order process is complete and within 1 business day the webmoney code will be accessible from your Kanetrade account order information page.

Hi there, I'm sorry if this problem has already been asked before (even though I did check the forum and this whole topic and I don't think it's been asked). I followed the guide, so I have a Gamecity account and a game account, I installed the game, updated to latest patch and ready to play. Since I never played before, I still have to make a character, and I do just that, select a name, a place. I get to the point where I have to modify the aspect of the character, but while doing that (I was almost done), I get this error (I don't think it's really related to modifying the aspect, I think it's time related... If I go quickly, it does it when I choose the Kingdom):  I tried 4 times to play, and I always get this thing. It's related to that NProtect thing, but I don't know why it happens... Can you help me? Thanks for the time. Edit: I could create a character, but now during the intro it gives me this one  Let me guess... it's telling me that those two programs (Netlimiter and iTunes) are somehow conflicting with the NProtect? I don't care about iTunes, but I kind of need NetLimiter... Edit: Ok, that seems to be the case, and I closed those programs, but now it says that my antivirus is an illegal program. Can I somehow add a list of "good" programs to NProtect? I can't seem to be able to terminate avguard.exe, as access is denied. If I can't solve this I can't play the game... nProtect GameGuard is a software that use in many MMOs to prevent players from using "3rd party illegal tools." The GameGuard will usually start after the game finishes patching. Then, GameGuard will connect to the server, update itself, then it will let "Authorize" if there is no "hacking software" that is on the "GameGuard Ban List." If there is such software, GameGuard either terminate the "hacking" program or GameGuard AND game close themselves and tell the errors... GameGuard also has ability to check IP address, hide itself from Windows, among others... nProtect GameGuard will block ANY programs that behave like "rootkit" program, in which GameGuard usually defined as "suspect-able activity" I don't know about the NetLimiter nor AVG (but AVG tends to have problems and conflict on several "Game Security Program" and other softwares.) However, it is weird that the "iTunesHelper.exe" make GameGuard stops working. I have iTunes and that particular EXE always run all the time, but I can connect to any MMOs without any problem. I recommend you to restart the computer first. Then, close the following ONE-BY-ONE in this order: AVG > NetLimiter > iTunes. I found out what NetLimiter does. I do NOT recommend you to open the NetLimiter while playing DWO. DWO is a MMO that required HIGH speed internet, in which you should NOT limited your internet speed at all. Thanks for the help. I had to uninstall Antivir Guard and just use another program (avast! antivirus), looks like Antivir Guard and nProtect always have problems together. Now, on an unrelated matter (but game related), I need some help: I'm playing the game, but I could never choose my weapon, and now I'm stuck with a spear (I think this is Zhao Yun's moveset). Actually I want an axe (this should be Dian Wei's set). Do I have to randomly find an axe in weapon boxes, or I can buy it somewhere? I read about a pawn shop (which from what I understood works like Auction houses in FFXI), but I don't understand where he would be (the youtube movie in the guide isn't online anymore). Can't I buy it in some weapon shop? I checked all this topic, but I couldn't find an answer to this. Thanks |

Yep, this means that you have to fight with Zhao Yun's spear for a while... (I recommend to do "Military Training" and then hunt ALL generic officers down for Weapon Boxes/Cloth Boxes, including officers in Supply Base!) Also, if you look at the map in market, you will see several dots in color. Those are Key NPCs. They are...

Thanks again. I finally got promoted, and I chose my commander. But, I don't understand what I'm supposed to do. I don't really get what all those choices do. The first one opens up the commander screen, showing what bonus he gives me; the second one shows some text and I can only click a button (I guess it says I can't do that yet, not sure); the third shows some kind of cards? They're all blank but one, where there's some kind of symbol, can't do anything there; the fourth one from what I gather is something about guild, it says I need 4 party members to do anything with that; the last one makes me choose a quest, but when I choose it nothing seems to happen, the quest is highlighted in yellow when I ask the commander again, but that's it. Can you explain me what those commands do? And, how do these quests work? Do I get them from the commander, but have to go to someone else to go to the quest map? That old guy next to the commander doesn't seem to do anything. Sorry for all the trouble... |

Okay, the each day there will be a different general on the big-alone box, go to that general & click him/her & another box will fill up. Now for the quests, to start a quest, there will be two men, one with purple dot & other with orange, click the purple-dot guy & choose the second option, choose what quest you want to do & that's all. |
