KOEI Warriors Unifier Posts: 1,757 Group: Members Member #7,496 Joined: May 22, 2007	I dont know if you want to count this, but in the SW Battle of Guan Du, if you have Sun Quan on your team, he will make two very unique comments on the battle. Once after you defeat the sorcerer in Wu Chao and once after you defeat Hognose in Bai Ma Castle.

Guan Ping, Nagamasa and Masamune also have a unique line when you defeat sorcerer in Bai Ma Castle. Anyway, I got two more: Wei 5 - Battle of Odawara Approach Cao Cao with Xu Huang and Zhang Liao //Added a few more: Wei 8 - Battle of Koshi Castle Approach Keiji Maeda with Cao Pi and Cao Cao Approach Masamune Date with Sima Yi and Dian Wei

Tiger General Posts: 458 Group: Members Member #6,349 Joined: March 27, 2007	Here are three more dialogues that I found: Wei Stage 8 - Characters: Orochi and Sima Yi Requirements: Once the path to Koshi Castle has been opened, approach Orochi with Sima Yi. SW Stage 8 - Characters: Lu Bu and Goemon Ishikawa Requirements: After Lu Bu is provoked to advance forward, approach him with Goemon Ishikawa. Characters: Orochi and Goemon Ishikawa Requirements: Once the path to Koshi Castle has been opened, approach Orochi with Goemon Ishikawa.

I tried playing as Sun Quan too and I heard him speak several times except when I beated the sorcerer at Wu Chao.... By the way, I found two more dialogues: SW Stage 3 Characters: Okuni and Lu Xun Requirements: Approach Okuni with Lu Xun. SW Stage 4-X Characters: Dong Zhuo and Mitsuhide Akechi Requirements: Approach Dong Zhuo with Mitsuhide Akechi.

Still didn't get it >_>. I had Sun Ce, Zhou Yu and Ginchiyo in my team. I went to the garrison where Da Qiao normally appears and quickly defeated her with Ginchiyo, but I didn't get anything. So what am I doing wrong here? Should I wait for a while after she has appeared? //Ok, I finally got the dialog. The requirement is to defeat Da Qiao with Sun Ce after Sun Quan has appeared. No wonder I never got it...

It happened pretty quickly when I got it. I guess you defeated the sorcerer when scout gave his report. That would explain it. I still have 8 stages go, and then I should have all regular conversations gathered (well, most of them at least). After that, I can fully concentrate on these character dialogs >_>.

Then I tried again without Okuni (replaced her with Ieyasu) and this time I got the dialogue. I tried that one but I got nothing. Am I missing something here? What did Sun Ce say to Zhang He?

Rescue Sun Jian and Sun Quan first, and make sure your team doesn't include a character who would normally have a dialogue with Zhang He (like Okuni or Magoichi). Sun Ce just says "This is for locking up my friends!"

Posts: 3,650 Group: Members Member #4,250 Joined: November 19, 2006	That is what I did. I had the team of Sun Ce, Sun Shang Xiang, and Ieyasu. I approached Zhang He as Sun Ce after I rescused them and I got nothing. I did it both in Story and Free mode as well. I even made sure that I didn't switched between characters when I approached him. I'll try again later and see what happens.

Yeah, I have that one too. Zhang He just isn't a match for Huang Zhong... But I also liked Pang Tong's and Mitsunari's discussion in Odawara: Pang Tong: "I think the two of them make a lovely couple, wouldn't you say?" Mitsunari: "You wouldn't find more a devious couple, I know that much." Pang Tong: "Imagine if they had a child... He'd be... well, he'd be a lot like you, I'll bet." Sun Shang Xiang also has a dialog with Zhang He if decoy units are defeated. Ugh, such an annoying way to unlock dialog >_>.

For example in Shu Gaident 8, took me nearly an hour until Guan Yu actually struggled against Orochi for Xiahou Dun to show up just so I can view the dialog between him and Magoichi, Yukimura, and Tachibana. I remember one that hasn't been added to the list! Wei Chapter 8-X Character: Dian Wei Requirements: When facing Orochi while Cao Cao is under attack. I knew about this one months ago, just kept forgetting about it and I don't see it on Humble Novice's list.

I already thought Dian Wei doesn't have a dialog with Orochi. Makes me wonder if Kanetsugu's dialog has special requirements as well. By the way, there is an alternative way to make Xiahou Dun show up in Shu 8-X. When the stage begins, head to your main camp and stay there until Zhang Lu has send two supply troops to central and eastern garrison. If you let this happen, Dong Zhuo orders Orochi army to advance and Xiahou Dun immediately arrives as reinforcements from the northwest corner.

I had Cao Pi, Zhen Ji and Dian Wei in my team. I allowed Cao Cao to struggle against Orochi, but I didn't get anything when I went to rescue him with Dian Wei. Maybe there's more to it... Also, I have a small announcement to make: I have finished my FAQ and I'll try to publish it on Sunday. Since I'm planning to put it on GameFAQs, I need to make sure that none of my lines exceeds the 79 character limit. It's probably full of typos as well (I wasn't always in mood to double check what I typed), so I need to check those too.
