I had Cao Pi, Zhen Ji and Dian Wei in my team. I allowed Cao Cao to struggle against Orochi, but I didn't get anything when I went to rescue him with Dian Wei. Maybe there's more to it... The dialog is just Dian Wei saying something about protecting his lord when he is under attack by Orochi. Some solider said "Lord Cao Cao is under attack, we must help him at once!" From there, Dian Wei jumps in say something about no one harming his lord with him being around. I don't think it matters what characters you have with you but I had Oich and Nagamasa with me when I got it. If you still can't get it, then I will just replay the battle and get the quote for you. And I can't wait to see the dialog guide up! Good luck with that!

I feel like covered every single one. @_@ Unless there are dialogs with characters that show up as reinforcements during stages that I haven't came across yet. Has anyone tested any with Xiao Qiao when she appears as reinforcements in Sengoku Gaiden 7-X? Cause maybe there is dialog between her and Zhou Yu, Kunoichi, or Da Qiao.

It seems that everytime I play certain stages with different characters, I unlock at least one new discussion. I may have even missed multiple dialogs due to fact that conditions for unlocking them are tricky or not possible with wrong team members. Say, in Wei's Koshi Castle, if you approach Keiji with Cao Pi, Gan Ning and Xu Huang, Cao Pi is the only person who talks with him. Same thing happens if you have Cao Cao or Mitsunari in Cao Pi's place. So in order to hear Gan Ning's and Xu Huang's dialog, your team must not include Cao Cao, Mitsunari or Cao Pi. I have actually divived the possible dialog unlocking methods in four categories: Auto - Character A (player) says the dialog automatically when he approaches character B (ally, enemy or yellow ally) even if he's inactive at the moment. Examples: Shu 6 - Hu Lao Gate - Approach Sima Yi, Diao Chan, Kotaro Fuma or Cao Ren (when he rallies himself) Shu/Wei/Wu/Samurai 8 - Koshi Castle - Approach Orochi Switch - You need to switch between characters in order to hear the dialog with character B. Examples: Shu 4 - Nan Zhong - Approach Meng Huo or Zhu Rong after you have rescued all Nanman units Wu 8 - Koshi Castle - Approach Da Ji and hurt her Samurai 6-X - Odawara Castle - Approach Sima Yi, Zhuge Liang, Sun Shang Xiang or Ina Approach - In order to hear the dialog with character B, you need to approach him/her with the right character A. If your team includes two members who have dialog with character B, you can only hear one dialog. Examples: Shu 2-X - Ambush at Nan Zhong - Approach Jiang Wei with certain character after his ambush is succesful Wei 8 - Koshi Castle - Approach Da Ji or Masamune with certain character Wu 1 - Mt. Ding Jun - Approach Jiang Wei, Yue Ying, Ma Chao, Ranmaru or Xu Huang with certain character. Not Allowed - If character A has dialog with character B, you might not be able to hear it if you have wrong team member(s). Examples: Shu 5-X - Jie Ting - Approach Sun Shang Xiang or Masamune without having Magoichi in your team Wei 5 - Odawara Castle - Approach Cao Cao without having Cao Pi in your team Wei 8 - Battle of Koshi Castle - Approach Keiji without having Cao Pi, Cao Cao or Mitsunari in your team. Then there are miscellaneous dialogs, too. Usually the dialogs are heard when you succeed in certain tasks during the stages. Examples: Wu 1 - Mt. Ding Jun - Capture Mt. Ding Jun or defeat 6 enemy offciers without having Sun Ce in your team Wei 8-X - He Fei Castle - Succeed in destroying the castle's front gate with the ram and in the sneak attack. Samurai 5 - Guan Du - Play as certain character when soldier gives a report of Nagashino's situation, defeat Hognose in the Bai Ma Castle (after phantom troops have appeared) or wait until Nobunaga orders full assault And that's not even half of them >_>. By the way, Dian Wei has two dialogs in He Fei Castle. He says the first line when Cao Cao is under attack and the second line when he has lost half of his life bar. //Added a few more: Wei 6-X - Liang Province Have Xiahou Yuan approach an enemy officer who is under sorcerer's spell. Samurai 7 - Wu Zhang Plains Have Kenshin Uesugi or Shingen Takeda approach Masamune Date

I didn't know that, only because I finished the stage before I allowed Cao Cao to lose anymore health lol. I kinda figured out that there are certain requirements to getting dialog in the game. I been testing a few out but getting nothing at the moment. I can't wait to see that guide though! As to the dialog you just posted, How do you get Nobunaga to be defeated at Koshi Caste? and What dialog was being said when it happened?

After Li Dian and Zhou Yu have arrived, Nobunaga's unit advances to Koshi Castle. When he's fightning against Orochi (with all other allies), take some distance and Orochi should be able to kill him in no time. Here's the dialog: Nobunaga: "...Darkness falls..." Orochi: "Utterly feeble. I was wrong to think that you could challenge me."

Right now, I was planning to do all the characters dialog from the ending cutscene that takes place in Wu Story 4 with Sun Jian and Sun Ce. So far I only have 3 done (Liu Bei, Cao Cao, and Cao Pi) lol. I had done other characters in the past but I don't remember exactly what they had said. I was wondering if you or anyone else remembers any of the others. I thought this would be good for a guide if people are interested to see who said what when rescuing Sun Jian. Some of them being funny, others being serious, and others just being silly.

I'd like to help you, but my dialog FAQ keeps me pretty busy... So many dialogs to find, so little time... But I hope the best of luck with your guide. I wouldn't mind reading those dialogs. Especially because clearing that stage takes so much time and only the character who you chose as leader speaks during the cutscene. Anyway, I have three new dialogs: Wu 2 - Chang Ban Approach Sakon Shima with Ieyasu Tokugawa. If Lu Xun's fire attack is succesful, approach him with Sun Ce.

The only problem I have is that I don't have an account with GameFaqs lol. I was also trying different characters to approach Sun Jian in Wei Story 5 like Lu Meng, Taishi Ci, Shingen, and Zhou Yu but I got nothing lol. And I never understood why they never had a phantom Liu Bei in that stage with Pang Tong being part of that battle. @_@

Requirements: Form an alliance with Huang Gai then approach Sun Jian for the ambush with Huang Gai by your side. You will either get the dailog during the ambush or after you defeat Sun Jian.

I added more dialogs, but I think all of them are in HN's guide as well. Three new additions: Wei 2-X - Invasion of Nan Zhong Approach Zhang He with Xu Zhu, Xu Huang or Mitsunari Ishida. One more: Samurai 4 - Tong Gate Approach Dong Zhuo with Nobunaga Oda.

I will keep trying through, most of the stuff I heard though was already mentioned. You're right though, Shu Story 1 is lousy for rare new dialog being as I test it myself.
