I am not sure since I play only the japanese server. But I guess soembody here can go play find the chinese server and try. Oh yeah did anyone ever notice the opening movie to this game is spoken in Mandarin and not japanese?

Actually, Koei dubbed Dynasty Warriors 3 into Mandarin with Tradition Chinese. They did a pretty good job as well, considering that they used the characters courtesy names when appropriate (ie Sun Ce calls Zhou Yu "Gong Ji" as they are close). The translations are also done in 'old Chinese,' and the dialogue flowed more smoothly in the cutscenes than the English counterparts.

Just as much as putting japanese voices in upcomming SW games mind you. (there is a youtube movie about zhuge liangs burial somewhere and in fully chinese (ofcourse) aswell, i thought it gave so much more atmosphere than i ever experienced in a dw game, so i really like the idea of it being incorporated more)

Most Taiwanese prefer Japanese anyway.
