Soldier Posts: 2 Group: Members Member #9,731 Joined: September 17, 2007	Hey guys. I'm having a little problem in Samurai Warriors 2. I'm trying to unlock Kojiro Sasaki. You have to do it during survival mode. I used either Nobunaga or Yukimura to get where I needed to be, but Musashi killed me pretty fast. Do you guys have any tips you can give me to help me finish this so I can use Kojiro as my bodyguard? Thanks for any help you guys can give.

Well, I don't have any really specific step-by-step help, but I used Musashi for everything. He just has all the necessary tools to handle whatever or whoever you face in Survival Mode, including Musashi. His Refill musou special is great for boosting the musou guage twice, then C1 to break guard & activate musou. I find that more effective than charging it up the full three bars. His counter special is also great, but against Musashi a counter is not that helpful since he hits you like a speeding freight train. It's best to hit him first C1 to C4 can shred lots of life as well. Hope this helps!

I seem to get to the last enemy on the map and then I get the message that an officer is slain and i lose the stage. How do I ensure that they survive and what are the "missions" for that stage?

Ahh ok. Been awhile since I've done that one. In fact, its been so long I don't even remember how his Kyushu stage goes. Sorry I can't be of much help right now. The only thing I could do is direct you to the SW2 walkthrough on GameFAQs by Rampidzier. I always referred to that one when I ran into trouble.

I know that if you reach floor 30 of abyss mode, you fight Lu Bu. My question is: can you unlock him to play with him? I've read (from quite a few people, including on gamefaqs) that if you beat him with an edit character named Lu Bu, then you unlock him. Is this true? Thank you for your time. End Spoilers

I was wodnering if you could tell me all of her attacks and her special skill. I would also like to know what levels she has in her story mode and I want to know what battles she appears in as a computer as an allie and an enemy. Thanks!

I'm trying to grab easy 4th's early on in the game, but I can't seem to Interim Save in Free Mode (I'm using Kunoichi's Ueda Infiltration like always). Is this something that was changed for the XL version? Or am I missing something obvious?

Soldier Posts: 11 Group: Members Member #13,009 Joined: January 31, 2008	Oh no, you most definitely could. You just had to press X at the pause map, and it'd go to a Save/Bodyguard Orders menu. Funny thing is, I can't. I don't know if I have to beat the new character's story modes first, or if it's a new (anti-)feature, or if it's because the level is a Castle stage. I'll check back if I figure it out. Well, isn't this nice? It would seem that every castle stage has no save option, as if it were a seige stage. What's more, Ueda Infiltration doesn't end when Yukimura gets injured. In other words, I can't just brave the rifles and archers to collect weapons, I fight to fight Hanzo and his dupes. Isn't. This. Nice? Side note: A good tip for Yoshimoto's 6th weapon is to take out Mitsuhide right when he appears in the Southeast to rape the two guys there, when you're supposed to be taking out Ina. I didn't see any notes about this in the other thread, so I thought I'd put it here.

There is a guide on Gamefaqs, which until I can get access to a printer, does me no good (I can't remember all of that stuff in the guide and I can't look at the computer while I'm playing). In the meantime, I am not playing it for now, because it's just too frustrating (I got all the way to the end with the main camp ambush, was on the last officer, when one of my retarded officers died). I figure I'll just go level him up (was 25 at the fight's start and was 27 when I failed it). Maybe that will help just a little at least. ========================================= Edit to add: Well, for some reason I decided to try the mission again and I beat it (got a B ranking, lol). Basically just kill all of the officers and take out the enemy reinforcement points. That's how I did it (the missions are not hard to find, as you will basically do all of them as you do the level).

Not sure what to do can anyone help me?

If you only have one question to ask, please post it here instead of creating a new topic. Also, you should be more specific. It's hard to help you when we don't know what your exact problem is. Let's start with basics: Are you sure that the difficulty is on Hard/Chaos and you have read carefully the tip how to get his 4th weapon?

General Posts: 304 Group: Members Member #12,988 Joined: January 30, 2008 Gender Male	I have a bit of a problem with getting Mitsuhide's 5th weapon... I'm playing on Hard Mode, and I'm definitely doing it in Story Mode. I go to take Mt. Tenno, by killing Mitsunari and the Defense Captain. Then I jump off the cliffs and go to kill Magoichi and then Nene. I usually complete all of these tasks in about 4.5 minutes. As far as I know, these are the only unique officers on the map at this time (apart from Hideyoshi), but I've also tried killing Sakon as well when he turns up. I then went to check the guide, and apparently I've done everything needed to obtain the 5th weapon, but for some reason I never get the mission to collect it, or the location of the box.
