Favorites: 1. John Fastolf. 2. Edward, the Black Prince 3. Joan of Arc 4. Magnus 5. Marc 6. Georges 7. Arthur de Richemont Least favorites: 1. La Hire 2. Gilles de Rais 3. Bertrand du Guesclin 4. John Chandos 5. Branwyn 6. King of France Joan of Arc is maybe borderline to me, I'm really not sure. I find her incredibly being favorited by KOEI in the game and always so hard to defeat with those horses. Plus, she is too often praised and plays a huge role. She is also covered by quite a few officers all the time as well. I really like John Fastolf. His appearance, personality and voice. La Hire's voice just is annoying to the point of despair. You battle him once to often in this game. Gilles de Rais at first I thought was okay, but my opinion soon changed quickly. He somewhat reminds me of a rat. Betrand du Guesclin's overconfidence, I quite like in a way, but not his striking resemblance to Wayne Rooney. I'm not saying I hate Wayne, its just that I find it quite funny and can't take his appearance seriously. And even then his voice is quite annoying. Nearly as bad as La Hires! John Chandos as you know has a bit of the cool factor going for him, but his often, too often opinions, are almost negative and displeasing to hear. Brawyn, with her, I just don't like her voice, appearance or personality... |

I don't really have an order... Though i really like Branwyn XD!! Everyone seems to hate her... I also like Iamarl, Karen and Diana... Also Edward. I think there was some more.... I think Magnus is pretty hot aswell  Bwahahaha. Though Chin! He's not as good as Magoichi!! <3 .

My favourites: - John Fastolf <3 <3 <3 x 1,ooo,ooo! I love his look, attitude and voice...yes. Even the skanky hair can't put me off He is all-round greatness!- Iamarl is awesome and creepy and hot. Even though she's a bit of a grouch, that just seems to add to her appeal lol! - BARKEEP! Hahaha... omg I think he's probably my 2nd favourite after Fastolf. I love his personality and silly voice and the way he looks out for everyone like some wise old master XD - Magnus & You Ji. Just for shallow reasons; I really fancy them XD - King of England; as an England supporter I have to support him His attitude is mostly good even though he doesn't really care how he goes about getting what he wants, he still just goes after it instead of piddling about like a Frenchman. Besides which he's so charismatic and majestic and hot
 - Beauchamp; bless the man, he's an absolute darling you can't help but love Least Favourites: - Joan of Arc. She's stupid and annoying and whiney and stalkery and gross looking and UGH. - Philippe le bon is another annoying French whiner - Hal. At first I liked him but his horrible voice just strangled my soul, and his attitude is quite annoying...even after he grows up. And that voice.... *shudders* - John Hawkwood is just disgusting in every respect - Diane is incredibly irritating - Shakti. Mainly because of her horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible (I can't say this enough) voice. Even though she's gorgeous, I just can't get over that ridiculous voice. Magnus is quite naff but nothing like this. - The King of France. He's gross and smarmy in a gross way and has the most ridiculous look in the entire game. Did you ever see a more stupid looking king?! - Okay all of France except: de Richemont, Jean (I pity the poor guy), You Ji. The others are all poop. |

:mellow: Magnus' voice made me feel soooo offended. >_> That injured my pride something fierce, stupid miserable half-arsed attempt at an 'Irish' accent. Sounds more like Mr Lucky Charms. Guh. Anyhoo. EDIT2: UPDATED BECAUSE I GOT EVEN FURTHER NOW. 1: Joan of Arc. I don't care if she's hard to beat. It's kind of apt. She's my favourite historical personality from this time period. Christ she's so.... jailbait though x_x; As well as being a bit stupid in the Battle of Domrémy (defending the town to her means running the hell away from it to start bashing some random English units pretty far from it) 2: Ed the Black Prince. Bless. He looks kind of masculine but that voice betrays him. Teehee~. He's another historical favourite of mine prior to even playing the game, even though some of my mates give him some bad labels "Oh, he got owned at this battle so he's gonna skulk off to his 'dark abyss' now". >_>; 3: Christine de Pizan, xD; it's hard to explain, I'll just say my best friend has this set of characters she designed herself (a while before Bladestorm announced), and one of them is this crazy scientist. Christine is like, proto version of that character. Terribly attached to her mad ways :3 that laugh is so win. 4: Karen & Yoshimasa: <3<3<3 if you did their little side story thingies you'll see why. Karen is totally tsundere for Yoshimasa xD;. 5: Diane: Mini-proto-female-Napoleon FTW. <3 6: Branwyn. Solely because her accent is bad to the point of win. That and I can tease my Welsh friend mercilessly about her ;D 7: Bertrand du Guesclin. He reminds me so much of my friend except a little bit more childish but just as huggable. Something strangely endearing about him :| La Hire is on the same level. Except he's (as Bladestorm Diary says) simple, bless him. Pure of soul indeed. He's just very angry about it. Everyone else is kind of at a meh level. But people I hate = 1: Gilles de Rais. He looks really DX< horrible, and what do you know, his actual history shows he's a complete scumbag. Woo. AS well as that Bladestorm makes him a right eejit >:|. Nasally French accent FTL. 2: Naran: GO DIE PLZ. 3: Phillipe Le Bon: Oh my god, he didn't start well for me looking like David Beckham. Together with his really godawful French accent and his crap demeanour I find him more than annoying *twitch*. Marie kind of gets lodged together with him because she can't stand to leave his side or something. Gah. 4: Georges. Get a life archer boy with more ego than Yun SUCK. >_> |

Well, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say...French. All of them, one way or another. Bertrand de Guesclin --> He's so fun to laugh at. What a crybaby. I mean really, angsting under a table in a bar? Gilles de Rais --> Aside from his voice, he's kind of cool. If you ignore the guff about him being a complete d***. You Ji --> Not technically "French," but Asian, and therefore inherantly superior. King of France --> When I saw the pictures of him, I thought he was going to be all serious and quiet and wise. But, thank goodness, having him on my side is like repeatedly watching the Frenchman skit from the Holy Grail. "Engleesh animahlzzz!" Mostly, I just like the accents. British accents don't seem as bad when faked by Americans, but French...it's almost not even funny. Almost. As for the English, Hotspur is awesome (just recently read Henry IV though, poor guy!). So bada**. Falstaff (er, Fastolf) is cool in ways most people can't even think of, like a fifteenth-century Fonzie. Chandos kind of reminds me of Xiahou Dun, in a good way. I suppose I'll come up with more when I finish the English story. But, I've got to say that my single favorite character has got to be Diane, because either 1) She's a pirate, and pirates ooze pure awesome (most people have a thing for ninjaz; I have a thing for pirates. What?!), or 2) She's got the hat and the accent, which makes her Napoleon preincarnate, which is even equally awesome. |

I really like to hang around philippe le bon, la hire and de richemont. All honorable people. I hardly ever take english missions, i enjoy killing english cause they have annoying voices lol, i just got myself a durandal for completing the french final mission. i guess a like to hang around' list would be: 1: le bon (very kind guy) 2: richemont (has great sense of honor) 3: La hire (he is heroic) 4: Henry percy (same as la hire, and a vagabond so being english doesnt matter) 5: joan of orleans (pretty and has sense of honor) Hate to be around and like to kill as fast as possible' list: 1: jamarl (assasins are without honor) 2: branwyn (she is annoying and hard to hit from a horse) 3: John chandos (he killed me alot when i was still a newbie on the field) 4: Marie (she is a coward despite being on the french side) 5: Christine de pizan (ugly and annoying) Well thats my list then. |

ive recently loved fighting with joan of arc, and...well...anyone who isnt on a horse, because those people really bug me, because when your trying to kill someone really important, the horses come in and swarm the place, giving you no room to kill, argh :angry: |

favorite IAMARL JOAN OF ARC EDWARD THE BLACK PRINCE EVERYONE is ok to me, but it just does not feal right because they are non playable. so i really don't care for no one except the above charecters.. iamarl is hot and she is kinda like Kotaro Fuuma. joan of arc is i think the hero in the game. she goes through so much and she is well presented game wise to the history of her. |

I love la hire (fr) and magnus (merc) I cannot stand: de pizan (fr), you ji (fr) and definatly chandos (eng) with his that i dont achieve anything or shouldnt be proud or something "just doing my job" He said that to me once when i just had taken 8 bases and killed 5 high ranking officers in the process during a single 10minute day. :l He was also the first officer in the game that killed me :l I hate chandos. |

lol, i hate Chandos also, hes such a pain and thinking hes all high and mighty but that doesnt matter anymore, now that i have lv90 fusileers, i can take him out whenever i want :lol: |

the reasons i dislike pizan and you yi are that when on horse units (like i usually am, and its the only unit i have on lvl 99, as in higher than 50 at all) The special mission in wich im put against french forces always takes me alot of time to kill them cause they both evade attacks and especially pizan has the tendency to murder my army. Yea i can kill chandos easily aswell, but lately hes been on my team all the time since i always did english missions only cause i wanted to proceed the english story (only got like 3 - 4 more official missions and after that nothing anymore  hmm )Anyway, i usually go after the french king emediatly lol and then joan of arc, just because they both give good items. But that chandos is always nagging like a child giving me the feeling i didnt do all i couldve done on the battlefield while he himself is always being mr. slowpoke and failing to capture bases hes fighting while i capture 5 or so before i get to the base he was at. Sometimes i wanted to bud spencer slap him in the face but then he quickly runs off on his horse. The fairy. edit: i believe his correct quote was "you should not take pride in just doing your job" I hate hearing that. |

Well, for the moment, my favorites characters are : Joan Of Arc (She's so strong & is the hope for France) Karen & Diane (lol they're ones of the first Mercenaries character we meet & they're charismatic) Phillippe Le Bon & Marie (sweet couple) Henry Percy & Iamarl (I like their stories) Edward The Black Prince (didn't know he could be so nice with people) You Ji (like his weapon) ... ... ...  )i dont know how any one could not like Joan of arc...shes so pretty...and very strong and courageous  but yeah, you would usually expect someone like Edward to be mean and just evil...but hes not...surprisingly |

(Don't worry, I don't even know if it's good what I've done >.<) Yeah you're right for Joan Of Arc but there're still people who don't like French like PostalOrder for example XD lolTrue, it's surprising to see Edward Prince personnality in game. However, it's maybe for letting you enter the two side. (2 good & charismatic characters in the 2 armies) |

Favorite: La Hire: Just one who follows what he thinks is right, similar to Ma Chao and Zhang Fei when it comes to behaviour and emotions... I like that in a character... You Ji: Like his appearance, weapon and accent... a good sidekick... Magnus: Hey, who dosen't like having a rival similar to Zhao Yun and Yukimura... Barkeep: Love the appearance, his eyepatch and the way he informs you and all... Least Favorite: Henry Percy: Aside from the armor and appearance, I don't like his voice, his story nor his personality. :mellow: I might edit this post later as I progress through the story... |

SPOILERS My favourite: Joan of Arc, duh. Second favourites are Gilles de Rais and La Hire, because they tag along with Joan. Gilles the cold, calculating outcast, La Hire the "man" of the lot, and Joan the gentle leader they both adore. The three of them make a fun gang. I almost laughed during the last cutscene when everyone linked hands. I wish Phillipa the English lady general had more involvement with the story. I only have two characters I dislike. They are: Henry Percy and John Chandos. Most of the other characters are in the middle. I like everyone, really, although people like Richard, the Johns, Phillipe Le Bon, and Arthur are a bit boring since they're just noblemen with varying personalities. I just hope I'll see the gang of three (de Rais, la Hire and Joan) around in the post-Bordeaux battles. P.S. Too many people forget just how great mates the Barkeep and the Merchant are. They stuck with you through the whole story, and stay with you even after it.
