What would you like being improved upon, added or even changed drastically in the next expected Bladestorm game? I would like: 1. An easier viewing map. 2. Being able to choose your own mercenary default weapon of choice. Such as a bow or pike instead of always a sword. 3. Cutscenes in the middle or throughout the game rather then just at the start and end. 4. Being able to unlock the characters as playables. 5. Better voice acting. 6. A more diverse range of missions. Such as protecting someone, defecting mid-battle, aiming to kill a foe whilst being vastly outnumbered and supporting the supply-lines, etc. 7. A more interactable environment. An example; Able to climb up upon castle walls and fire arrows with archers via ladders. Another being; Smashing castle walls and gates with elephants, etc. Also, a more variety of terrain and cycle weather changes. I like those mounted paths in Bladestorm because of the strategy you can undertake, but there are too few of them. 8. Better balances in unit usage and to not let horses dominate 80-90% of the game when using them. Also, more attacks would be nice. 9. A SP transfer system. |

Well, I'd have to say being abole to play as the characters. That would be an obvious idea but important nonetheless. The mechanics in Blade Storm should be the same as in SW and DW. |

That would be a drastic change then, to have it play like DW/SW. So you don't like the way the mechanics work at the moment or would just like two options; Strategy like it is now and another game for a hack & slash title, but based on the same subject? |

I'd go for the hack & slash option. The Hundred Years War was supposed to be Europe's "Last Great Medieval War", and I was kind of surprised when I discovered that Blade Storm was a strategy game. The mechanics are strange and after one attack you have to wait and when you wait you're as good as dead. |

I would definately say make it warriors style,mechanics and all that jazz.But I really do like Bladestorms own system tho :wacko: I thought up untill updates before its release we would play as the actual charcters,so that would be a yes please for bladestorm 2,I know it wud defeat the story of being a mercenary but it cud all jus change! |

I would also like a feature that can transfer wasted points from using one unit thats maxed to another group. Though, having said that, if the system were to be like WO then it might make us just not bother to use many unit types. It just seems a waste that's all. |

well...being able to use other characters would take away from the merc scenario...i think thats how to say it
also, i was going to start a new topic, but i guess i might as well put them in here: -being able to enter buildings mid-battle: when you go into the bigger places, like Rouen, Rheims, Bordeaux etc. you see some signs having from the top of some, like another tavern, or a shop, so you might be able to get some certain weapons and items only at certain shops? -being able to enter the field of battle, without a mission: i get annoyed with the fact that you cant just go to any battleground and just wreak havok, and then use the little mini-strongholds, the ones that you cant take <_< and advance to another area |

(Did anyone menion this aready?) I'd be SO grateful if in the next Bladestorm game they gave you the option to view cutscenes you've unlocked already!! I spent 2 weeks beating the game, and when I was done, the next day I was like: "Oh! I should watch that cutcene with Henry Percy in it!" I was extremely dissapointed. -.- Now I gotta beat the game all over again andrecord th cutscenes MYSELF. NOT COOL! Otherwise, I dont think the next Bladestorm should change, really. I dont want it to become a hack n slash (we have enough -.-) |

well, if I want Bladestorm like this: first, it may Koei Group Can Make in the PS2, because the PS3 is still in Indonesia have not been many. some of the new already have among the rich. second, can also make a Hack & Slash genre because I can not with the strategy genre. follow this: - Story Mode with the scenario that is its English,French, and Mercenary. - There must be 3 characters in the Story Mode each scenario, and if a character, all characters must be in Story Mode. - If there are characters that are the most among the other legends of his character is to be opened by the king of his course - invent Edit Mode, to be able to create their own characters (sorry if there are words or less, because I have not understand in English, so I use Google Translate Indonesia to the English) Edited by ReVo-RRFH, Feb 23 2009, 09:59 AM.

I think that adding a bit more when it comes to fighting would be nice. I don't relish the thought of holding down R1 until everyone is dead. Maybe a custom moveset for your own character? |

I'd like the attack set to be developed - I was extremely annoyed how my mercenary would swing an axe when the enemy was clearly out of arm's reach. However, making custom movesets would ruin some of the 'you're one of the soldiers fighting in the field' sense. It's more a strategy game than a Dynasty-Wars-y Hack-and-Slash. Although being able to use extra SP to increase certain stats after you've maxed a book (or all of them), I've got 3000 SP in almost every book and I haven't even broken level 60 yet. Movement and Spirit also doesn't recharge fast enough for most units, and I'd like to be able to increase Inventory for units like Bows, Guns, and definitely Engineers. Being able to sneak inside enemy fortified cities or at least open gates from the inside would be nice. I can't count the number of times I break a gate open, charge inside to kill everything, then have to walk all the way around to go out the one open gate so I can kill more defense units and get the Base Commander to spawn. |
