I heard of that yesterday evening and couldn't help feeling sad, especially because he was so young! And yes, a very promising actor.
R.I.P. Heath.

Well he wasn't screwing around with drugs. He just took some doctor prescribed medication for his recent insomnia from playing Joker in Dark Knight. Supposedly, he OD'ed on accident due to prescription error, not for recreational use.

I don't really know anything about him, besides he was an actor. I overheard my sister speaking with her husband about this, he was just found dead. If I remember they said he was a rock singer, or around that, is that correct?

Well, he's an actor and he overdosed on Valium and Xanax. Didn't he already finish filming Dark Knight when he died. And WBC have gone WAY TOO FAR.

WBC is a blemish for all Christians and perhaps religious people alike. I don't know if it applies to Heath Ledger but there is a defense against WBC picketing:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patriot_Guard_Riders

If not, perhaps Ledger's fans and perhaps some police can stave off the WBC. And of course the Law, if WBC gets within 500 feet of the funeral, they can be accosted by the law and be fined and incarcerated, depending on which state this burial will occur. But wouldn't it be better to be buried in his native Australia, out of WBC's foul reach? Just wondering.
