Ok I need one, so I can go online from my PS3.
So I need to know what is the best for your money, the cheapest, yet strong working. Because I heard a lot of people have problems with theirs.

Routers are a pain in the backside to setup, but once you get them working they are outstanding devices.

I recently installed a router from my PC to allow internet access on my Laptop, Wii & PSP and it works very well.

Mine is a fairly basic ASUS router, it only cost me $50AU (Although it was discounted from $100 as I purchased my Laptop at the same time) it works perfectly find and has great coverage for when I'm both upstairs and downstairs in my home.

Well I have had a bunch of routers in the past. I suggest getting a D-Link router for the best signal and setup. I used Linksys and Netgear in the past and had many problems with connections and reseting the routers. My D-Link gaming router hasn't given me any problems ever for 2 years. I love it. Of course thats my opinion.

I also suggest you get the new N-Routers because they are the new technology for wireless connections. It makes internet speeds faster and all.

I agree with Jsun. We used D-Link routers at a course I attended three years ago, and they worked well, both wireless and with wires. Now I'm using a D-Link modem on my pc, and it works well too.

My brother has a D-Link wireless but its not the best that works concerning our old house walls. Since the walls are old the signal has trouble passing through, and especially when wanting to connect it to another room. Plus, if you were to be the gamer playing any game beside the router, whilst someone is downstairs then you maybe needing to refresh the page a few times or so. Simply because the connections will clash.

If you are the only person, then don't worry. However, note that the only other wireless I've had was a BT Home-Hub or something similar to that name, and that was very poor.

I personally prefer the wired which it was I've got on my own computer.

My DLink wireless router was fine until the antenna broke off in the back, and I can't go Ps3 online now because of it. Wii is fine, because I have the USB connector :)
