Orochi's myth was made in Japan, and his enemies were Japanese, so he wouldn't have a different language than they do. |

Hehe..but it's fun imagining if the DW guys spoke chinese and SW spoke Japanese and they're like trying to communicate with each other. |

Yeah, but he's a demon. Who's to say what he speaks or spoke. Japanese legend or not, he probably didn't speak. |

Aaaawww....you're ruining the fun Shogun. But you're right though. I just hope they get some better VA's for the stateside release. Virtually every character in the game sounds like they got sick or something. |

Lol I know WHY they speak the same language. It's too complicated if they didn't. I meant in-game and in the story..I wonder how. Though I guess I'd say that it was simply the same way Samonsuke and Jaques speak in Onimusha 3. Magggiiiicccc. Probably Zhang Jiao's doing. |

I wouldn't be the biggest fan of that, personally. Unless they were willing to educate us on everything involved with voice casting and direction (and there's alot as fans we don't know!). That being said, all these questions - and granted, this is probably not widespread - are being asked. Maybe KOEI should publish a sort of story guide (like Street Fighter does) in order to show exactly what the canon order of events and the like were? And it can show what each character was doing at the time, notable new relationships, why Orochi chose them, etc. |

Unless they make a dual-layered DVD, they don't have the room anymore (I think; the vocals take up quite some space I think).
DW5 on the XBox had it as well. Ah, memories.... |

That'd be a pretty good idea. Also be another opportunity for them to make a decent amount of money without totally screwing us over. I just hope that there might be some cool fight scenes in it. Still waiting for the fight where Tadakatsu shows Lu Bu who the real champ is.

Its way too early for that, the game's official release for Japan isn't until April 3rd (tomorrow for us in Western Hemisphere) We have some time before they announce it for US/EU

Original SW had JP voice option too, as does current SW:Katana. They can do it, the question is will they? |

Not exactly. Instead of it being a strategy guide (as in, dealing with gameplay aspects), this book deals specifically and only with storyline & characterization aspects of the franchise and solidifies what did and didn't happen in the games (despite occurances to the contrary). The format is popular in Japan (many major game & media franchises have them) and it's usually a source of insight as well as fun trivia (I.E, in the Street Fighter Eternal Challenge book I learned that Chun-Li's ranked 6th internationally in Marksmanship). It's perfect for crazy fans of the characters and for people are are detail-oriented. It often shows off a ton of artwork as well. The Databooks for DW are like this, but they've never really shown a specific outline of what happened (obviously, because the game follows the basic narrative of the novel). With MO & MOMS, it's different since this is all their story. And we want details. Plus with 90+ characters, and alot of the work done for them - it's not a hard sell. |
