Whats a tactic? How are they used? Depending on team members?

Sorry, I really want to know.

Sorry no one got to your reply. I'll do my best to explain them, but honestly I'm not sure what most tactics do. Basically, each character has a certain battle requirement, like getting 100 ko's, or killing 10 generals. When you complete that requirement, a portrait of the character will flash on screen and they say something dramatic, lol. From what I have seen, tactics can increase moral, strengthen your army in some way, or in really awesome cases, they actually fully heal all your generals.

Oh yeah, and tactics are unique to each character. Doesn't have to do with teams.

Anyway, about Maou Sairin...well, it's amazing. Honestly my favorite of the whole DW/SW series, but there is one problem. In order to unlock a certain character, you have to do a lot of tedious things, like getting an average of 30 attack proficiency for all characters, across the board. That is not fun. At all. Some characters I simply don't enjoy using, but now I have to, which I really don't think was a good design choice by koei. It takes so long to level up proficiency, which isn't the same as normal leveling up, by the way, which is much faster.

Other than that though, it's totally amazing~

Actually that sounds like a GOOD move by KOEI, makes people have to play with all the characters even the sucky ones hahah!

Trust me, it's not fun at all. I would have much rather just had to finish all stages on Chaos rather than dozens of hours of busywork for just one character. I'm at the point where I may not even bother to unlock him, as I've already spent a few hours grinding for proficiency with characters I can't stand.

The lack of extra charge attacks is still bugging me. I don't have the game, so I want to ask the people who have it this question...

Why do you think the extra charge attacks were omitted? Too much work? Imbalance? Laziness?

Would that character be Shin Orochi?

To Mac: Why I think they were omitted? For the sake of balance. It would have been pretty easy to put the extra charges in, since they already had the data from SW2XL, but they removed them most likely to keep things balanced with the DW characters.

To Drew: Yup. I mean, the funny thing is that, he's really not much different than regular Orochi, despite having an (imo) cooler look. Still though, for completion sake, the requirements for getting him are quite ridiculous.

That's the most reasonable response I've heard yet.

They could have just reduced the attack power of the moves, though. :P

Wow I just saw Shin Orochi gameplay in that new video...

can I get a [Shin Akuma raging demon R1 special attack] anyone? That seriously looks amazing.

Question to the owners of WO2, did Koei nerf the added charge attacks to the characters in SW2XL?

I just saw this video whilst randomly looking through them and noticed an awesome track from DW3! I didn't know that it was going to be in the game, so are there anymore, or perhaps some DW4 tracks?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8KoG0mbaDE

I would just like to know this answer. Is this the only track added from the old games?

No. There are much more from the old game from all the video's I've seen. I mainly hear songs from DW3 and I love them! Those songs were the best!

i think all DW games have good and not so good music, is not that we can say, one game has the best music. I think, when more chinese/asian sounding music, than that game has more chinese historic atmosphere.

Oh I see, thanks. Then I guess its a mix like WO but instead using tracks from all the games, or just DW3 and no DW4, etc?

Is the Komaki remix from SW2XL in there? Though I wouldn't mind it from SW1:XL either.

i think it is LittledragonZ, i've heard it on a video with Himiko, Taigong Wang and i think Garacia, it was a video showing Himiko in her alternate costume beating up the big boar enemies.

Thank you for the video! That is the SW2XL Komaki-Nagakute

This is very cool and I am glad some old tracks are in there. What would make this game even 10x cooler would be the Empires feature of having your own music in any level. (one of the main reasons I love DW5E/SW2E for their overwhelming number of tracks from all the games)

You know (and I just have to say this), Koei will still take stuff from the older games like DW3 (music-wise) but leave out Fu Xi/Nu Wa artworks/outfits. But it is good to see Koei reaching back to 2001-2002 years and importing old DW stuff into the newer games.

They do use a track from dw 4. Its the one from Hu Lao gate. It plays during the Si Shui gate battle in MO2. I haven't noticed any others though. I was hoping they would have Interceptor on the He Fei stage (because its my fav track from 4) but they didn't use it :(

I like the mixture of music though. Komaki-Nagakute has become one of my favorite stages just because of the music it uses.

Thankfully, this game is single layerd, so even ancient, fat PS2's can play it! Happy Days!

That's "Steal A March" from Dynasty Warriors Online (BB) you can download it by clicking the GAME OSTS banner at the top there (with Gracia).

The one in WO2 is the one in DW3 called "Arena" :)
