- Gracia still has range issues on her Normal and Charge attacks - She loses her C5 of course, and her specials are different than in SW2:XL - C1 & C2-3 are still probably her best Charge attacks - She has 2 special attacks being SPD character - 1 shoots fireballs (I think) the other is a defensive barrier which you can glitch against a wall for massive damage (assuming they don't fix this during localization) - Motochika is a TEC type so he gets a counter and enhanced charge attacks (C3ex includes a series of sound bubbles + variant of his SW2:XL C5 water attack, IIRC) - TEC characters still get Critical Hit abilities so he'll be pretty good, IMO That's all I can think of right now. Keep in mind, I don't have the game so I could have missed something

I guess it will be cool playing Kenshin as the "Ghostface Killer" again  That was my nickname for him in the original. But I think Oichi gets a different alt like Masamune doesn't she. I've yet to see any gameplay of her. Though I haven't looked as much as you Honda. |

I think I used maybe 3 alt outfits in WO ... but this one I'll try and use a few more since I don't remember what many of the SW outfits looked like Serenity posted a pic of Oichi in her alt outfit ... let's just say it would look better stuffed and mounted on a wall  |

Oh no! Not that fox thing from the original. Well that sucks, good thing they ditched the tarzan Masamune look for something cooler. B) |

Yea ... the fox thing  I guess Masamune avoids the shame this time  I'll have to come up with a good nickname for Goemon in his alt ... that thing is just hideous |

I always use alt. colors in WO >_>. I don't see much point in using original colors since you can always see them when you're choosing characters or when you meet them on the battlefield... KOEI should have added a small Easter Egg on this game by giving Masamune his original costume and moveset. I would have loved to see him with those awesome bokkens again :P. |

Good point LoW ... I think I'll try that for awhile and see if I like any of them. I messed with them a bit during my first Wu story playthrough, but that's about it. I just watched the 3rd costume videos Serenity made awhile ago ... I forgot Katsuie gets the "Fox" treatment as well  For some reason, Toshiie 3rd costume reminds me of DW6 Ma Chao

In the English official trailer, I think Sun Wukong voice sounds a lot like WO Hideyoshi's voice. He doesn't sound as bad but still... <_< Koei ruins another good character again. |

I actually wish they used that voice (Wukong's) for WO1 Hideyoshi to begin with. It's closer to SW2 Hideoyoshi's voice then the one in WO1 was. |

Checked Serenity's alt costume vid finally. Yoshimoto actually looks tough Orochi is chanelling Yukimura Katsuie is a wolf I'm guessing, not a fox like Oichi Oichi's fox look is way better than the SW1 version Fuma really looks like Orochi now Yoshihiro finally put his helmet back together Toshiie - "I fight in the name of Katsuie!" Kojiro looks human Musashi finally looks like a classic samurai (hoping for kimono in future) Kenshin's back with the hood, but they took away the pale face  For alot of the SW1 models, it seems like they just meshed the original model, onto the current one. |

During the time when I first started to post here whenever SW2 was released, I typed up in a thread about how I wished for Yoshihiro to get his helmet that Ginchiyo sliced in the opening movie of Kyushu. But I'm so pleased at least now he has a helmet, and I'll be using it, thats for sure.

Yay! I saw the ad for WO2 in my newest issue of Official X-Box Magazine! I was reading an article on Fable 2, and when I turned the page, it was there in all it's glory. I immediately forgot all about Fable 2 and stared at the ad for 5 minutes before continuing with the article. |

I have a Q! In general would you say that the recovery time has been improved? In WO if you were to play Chaos mode and go against 6 or so officers, then once you've been hit you are dead unless you can squeeze out or luckily switch somehow. It just takes too long to get back swinging your weapon and avoiding high morale soldiers with their officers. |

This doesn't directly answer your question, but it does provide some extra info on that particular situation, if that makes any sense  When you get hit, the damage is reduced compared to WO, but consecutive hits will increase in damage so it might be possible that you can last a bit longer when surrounded by 6 or so officers. In WO --> 6 consecutive hits on Chaos = KO (or at least massive damage) In WO2 --> 6 consecutive hits on Chaos ... it probably will still hurt, but maybe not as much So yea, your chances of surviving a situation like that may increase in this game due to enemy damage output. Other than that, the new Assist attack basically allows even non-tech characters to get out of those situations as if they had a counter-attack. Now, whether or not you can recover faster after being hit, that's definitely a question for someone else since I have no clue

Hmm..I was just using Zhao Yun at Komaki-Nagakute on Chaos against 6 giant boars and 2 of the regular orochi officers with his 2nd weapon. I didn't really die, moreso go even close to red health

I didn't announce it on the main site because this update is very tiny so I'll post it here. http://warriorsorochi.co.uk/play-wo2.html WO2 Europe splash page has an update with the English trailer and you can listen WO2 Da Ji's voice there - I think her voice is like the previous one, which is very good. I also think the full site is going to be launched soon so keep an eye at the http://warriorsorochi.co.uk "Time to have a little fun!" ~Da Ji |

If you're dazed/stunned the recovery time would be lower, I feel. Then there's when you're being juggled by 6-7 officers including Kiyomori. You won't die. Just be in a lot of pain... Took me some time to be flung out of the fray. There was this time when I got juggled by 3 kiyomoris, 2 ninjas and 1 boar in Chaos. It was like non-stop flying. My almost full health went to 0 in less than 30 seconds. x_x Then again I was using Mitsunari who's defence is so very low... |

Ah, thanks. That sounds a lot less painful then what it is in WO. At least now that the damage is lower, so being in a slow recovery period won't be as bothersome. |

Okay, realised something again. I was playing Komaki-Nagakute as usual, waiting for teh big giant door to Kiyomori and "Orochi", and I realised something weird about the spearmen. The ones wearing the helmets actually rotate between different head models at times, like the helmet changes some features and the face changes some features...weird huh? |
