Finally I was able to learn more about stories. Surprisingly, no one ever bothered to translate them... I guess I'll start with Orochi. Not only I get to learn how Orochi managed to defeat his opponents in WO but it's also a nice way to experience the events of WO again. Haven't played that game for some time now, so I might have forgotten a few important events. After Orochi, I'll move on to Wei and Samurai. I want to wreak havoc with very big swords as soon as possible >_>. |

just a question about the game itself.. do the r1 special became ineffective if used too many times? i ask, becouse in the first one it actually happened, for the summons type (shima cannons, tong whirlwind ecc) and pow ups.. sur they disappear temporarily, ( i guess you need to kill a certain number of guys bef they get back, or get the PI) but it really annoyed me. so, does this stupid limitation go on in warriors orochi 2? Thanks

I hope not ... there's no PIs to fix the glitches anymore  Alternatively, if the problem still exists, the proficiency levels go up to 50 now so it could take a while to "fix" them

I think he means like for moves Specials that give a buff or summon lets say fireballs or a tornado and cost musou unlike Ling Tong's specials which don't cost any, if you use them alot in MO1, they sometimes fail to work unless you have a Personal Item which no longer exists in 2, so I think hes asking if the case of attacks like that still failing to activate at times... |

The US site looks the same as EU  only difference is Orochi, and the top right corner has a link to Koei newsletter instead of signing up for My Koei. |

AAANNNNDDDDD...it's official! Game Informer is now entirely ignoring KOEI's existence. there is not even a tiny 1/8 page review of WO2(like there was for DW6) in the October issue. also no mention of DW6:S or DW6:Multi-Raid in their Previews or Photophile sections. however, there is a very informative and eiciting look into Little Big Planet. |

I was going to subscribe, but relized I wouldnt even be around for the last 4 issues or so to get them
. But it fiqures that they wouldnt care much, no american magazine or website cares about musou games much anymore or even did. Although that might change with the Tecmo merge, maybe.

*laughs* my post was really sort of "tongue-in-cheek", i generally like GI and their semi-bitchy reviews and previews. we ALL know by now that Musou games are an acquired taste, and it's not expected for the US reviewers and media to agree with OUR opinions of them, i just thought it was humorous that GI's coverage of KOEI gets smaller with every successive game. |

EGM doesn't have it either. They wrote a review of Samurai Warriors Katana that was made of EPIC FAIL, and they dont even bother with WO2? |

It doesn't even say that there is WO2 near my Gamestop store.(less than a mile) There's plenty of reason reviewers to don't like Warriors Games. |

ya but it's unfair and anti-biased (or whatever its called) to automatically dislike the new games these days. the reviewers still have the responsibility to fully try out and measure the pros and cons without automatically giving up on it. besides Warriors games even these days are proof that tons of people enjoy them. and the sales successes keep them coming. |

That's just plain old bias. Bias is when you have a pre-disposed attitude towards one of the 'things' that (could) exist in a relationship with multiple factors. One has to remember that the majority of bias is understood and acted upon subconciously... people think they're being neutral, when they already have a biased perspective. That being said... reviewing is tough because every single reviewer is going to hold the game to what-they-believe-to-be the standards a game must measure to in order for it to be fun. So really, the reviewer only has the responsibility to communicate how succesful a game is in the standards they understand. That's why it's important to have many reviewers and many diverse sets of standards - because no two people are going to enjoy the game in the same way, but if you find someone who has similar standards to you, then you have a closer picture of how you may enjoy the game.

Couldn't you just send a PM? I am not going to touch Dream Mode untill I have got my favorite third costumes and all characters with a maxed 4th weapon. Does anybody know some good stages for proficiency and weapon farming? (Still need to wait for the game to be released here. Or does somebody know a good import site from the UK?) |
