Opps, sorry, made a mistake on my Taigong Wang reasoning. I ment to say his C2, not 1. Yes it is weird for it to get stuck like it does, but really when useing it, you should know it to make a hit, as I usally use it within crowds for the wide hit range, as it is not simply just right in front, but wider. I like his personality, it shows the frailty of even gods not being all knowing, that he has originally no faith in humans, but changes due to their fighting spirits. He may be cocky, but never acts young imo, which is why it bugs me that everyone refers to him as a boy and I wish Koei didnt do this. |

And the fact him calling Liu Bei a ''General'' can annoy me if I hear it too often... Though I know what you mean, Fu Xi and Nu Wa treat him as inferior. Its clearly shown that way in Hinokawa. |

Yup ... I got an earful of "boy" and "child" today playing that stage ... Speaking of Hinokawa ... I don't like Juggernauts  (I think that's what they're called) ... they're referred to as ancient siege weapons in Hinokawa ... anyway, I don't like them. Especially when they are right next to those stupid sorcerers who like to freeze you <_< Yea, I got frozen by some stupid peon sorcerer and I had one of those "WTF?" moments when one of those siege weapons started to roast me alive and drain half my life  Of course, that's after I kept getting stunned by the flames everytime I moved <_< I guess I should've just ignored them and just defeated Fu Xi to get rid of them, but I had to destroy them personally after almost killing me  |

Arg, dont get me started on sorcerers , I hate them and they are always in such large groups. drives me nuts whenever I get frozen, because then there is always some enemy general around to finish me off or close to it <_< I would say the sorcerers and archers have gotten ten times worse and more annoying in this game. Speaking of a siege type weapon, what was up with those weird statues that were by Keiji in one of the Wei levels. Those stupid things would move toward you and hurt you and send you flying. Im pretty sure that was the only level I saw them in

Killing archers are always a first priority of mine. Because all they gonna do is poke me to death which will make me flinch, and that sets me up for a infinito combo from an enemy officer >_>. And I don't use that ability to negates flinching from arrows. Long as I kill them first, I'm fine. Sorcerers are not so bad. Cavalry units are fun. Call me weird but I intentionally get hit by them so I can glide along with them. |

i supose i should done my favorites list as well. it goes like this, for all the reasons i listed above: Yoshitsune Taigong and Himiko(can't really make a decision) Kiyomori Nu Wa Fu Xi Sun Wukong and i want to know what the weird "hovering claws of electric death" are in Hinokawa's castle? are they part of the ancient siege weapons, or some other madness. that level was not difficult, but i really got exasperated after the third round of reinforcements showed up, the level design is not really conducive to getting around easily. the sorcerers in this are about the same level of annoying to me as the sorceresses in DW4:Empires. i played that game to death when it came out, so i have my strategies for dealing with the pesky sorcerers, mow into them with a horse and then Musou the rest. incidentally, i have gotten Huang Zhong and Xiahou Yuan past level 50 with high proficiency, both of their T string arrow attacks can kill generic generals, and half-life famous generals in one go on Hard |

I have the sudden urge to mention that Xiahou Yuan's and Magoichi Saika's cutscene together is awesome (and amusing)! Okay, that being said, those electric machines that hover at Hinokawa are summoned by Fu Xi, foomin. You'll likely notice this the next time you play the stage since I've now mentioned it. I think they are there rather for intimidating purposes - I've stated this in its stage topic. The sorcerers are so very annoying, I completely agree. I also find Himiko's summoned Clay Effigies at Yamatai to be an extreme nuisance. |

All story modes now finished, would have to say Wei's was my favorite, least the ending, makes Orochi look less like a complete badguy, and of course brought the Hero of Chaos and Demon King back together again(Cao Cao and Nobunaga work good as a team IMO) |

here's my comments on the new characters so far, finished wu and shu, used Taigong Wang and Yoshitsune throughtout both, Taigong Wang was an interesting character, his moveset is interesting and looks pretty nice, his R1 is a bit lackluster because of the YinYang orbs and all, his Musou is pretty strong aswell, his personality was interesting too, because he seemed somewhat intrigued by the human spirit throughout the story Yoshitsune was just down right fun to play as, good officer killing, good crowd control, all around good character, his personality was nice, bit was lacking a bit because he just spent all his ime mindlessly chasing Kiyomori, still, a good character and thats it for now, going to play Samurai today, cant wait to play as Fu Xi

Yes, she is very easy to use, I would say the easiest new character (not including Orochi X) because of her effigies and R1 special that doubles the amount. Not only can she cover the entire area, but her C1 really just traps the officers and figuratively freezes them slowly in place with huge damage. I would say her musou needs some help though. But I guess keeping that not really effective, is kind of a strong point or she would be even better and would have little to no flaws. |

Ok, I have a new question. I've been thinking on doing this "musou based" gameplay like in the normal DW and SW series. For that I was thinking about doing a full musou set-up. Has anyone done this before? If so how did you do it? I was thinking on doing it this way... - Put Absorb 10 in my weapon (and Drain for survival in chaos? I'm considering it...) - Put the Supremacy enchantment in my weapon (I haven't done this yet, so I don't know just how effective it is). - Put the Verity enchantment in my weapon. - Put Refill in my set-up. - Put Focus in my set-up. - Put Awakening in my set-up - Put Recuperate in my set-up (I'm really not sure about this one, but maybe I'll do this if I do this "musou based" gameplay into all of my 3 characters) So, what do you think about my build? Propose a better build if you have one. PS: Refill = slowly but constantly gain musou, Focus = increase musou, Awakening = musou attacks are more powerful, Recuperate = inactive character gains musou faster, Supremacy = gradually and constantly gain musou, Verity = true musou always active regardless of your health. |

That sounds good enough to me mate. I haven't done as much to bother trying something like that yet, but I'll keep it in mind when the last pages are closing.

Can someone give me info on new generic officers. Like names and such? Are there any Heian generic officers? Are those generics from Orochi stage 8 based on real gods? |

Drain > Absorb for chaos, trust me. And I think having both on the same weapon will cancel each other out. The rest of your setup is fine. I've used recuperate before(at lvl9), it does what it's supposed to do quite well. Refill, never used that, but if Supremacy uses the same rate as it has from SW2XL, it may be worth keeping. You could go a step further and use Verity, Supremacy, Teamwork; check on that one, I could have it mixed up with support attacks happen at half musou. True musou attacks and Team attack musous without needing to be in the red :P. I myself prefer a balance of defense and power: Fortitude, Focus, Impulse, Vitality, Potency, [Whatever category characters I use-ability], Boost. My weapon setup(at this point I use Zhen Ji) is Agility, Range, Drain, Brave, Might, Slay, Flash, Almighty, Evasion, Verity. Sometimes I take out boost and put in recuperate. |

No, they won't cancel each other out. I disagree that Drain is wholeheartedly better. If you need it to survive, then by all means take it. It can certainly ease the learning curve, which is why I took Drain setups when I first started soloing WO on chaos difficulty. When characters are mastered, the vast majority will avoid damage well enough to make Drain unnecessary for surviving chaos. Adrenalin is far better health insurance because it can be triggered by any 10+ combo (rather than requiring you to hit enough enemies with an elemental charge attack), and it restores adequate health for maxed and mastered characters. Absorb can significantly improve a character's offense. Cao Ren needs it to abuse his powerful -ex charges most efficiently. For him and similar characters, Absorb is superior to Drain because the best defense on chaos is killing enemies before they can get to you first. |

there are no generic Heian generals in the game, and the Orochi stage 8 Sorcerer generals all have Three Kingdoms generic general appearance, but the names come from the Western constellation names, i.e. Cygnus, Ursus, etc. i have not spared time to count exactly how many there are. the only new named generals are also in the Orochi Camp, the boars(named after minerals/geologic terms) and the undead ninja(of whom Dodomekki is the only historic name, the rest are named silly things lik Wishbone, and Stripeleg??? (i cannot find a commonality with them). |

Oh yeah I forgot to mention the goal of my alternate build. NO ALMIGHTY. When you have almighty, the game's pretty much over already. Look at it this way, Almighty = Atomic Bomb. It's a powerful weapon indeed, but it's forbidden of use! So yeah...so far I haven't been able to put up my "musou based playing" build yet, since the weapon enchantments and abilities are pretty much hard to come by with. Weapon farming being random and all...it will require quite some time, but for now, I've got a yoshitsune with supremacy + the other musou regenerating things...and...well, it's so-so. The musou generation is very slow, you can kill like 10 hordes of enemies with your normal attacks while waiting for your musou to regenerate then you can just kill a few guys when you activate your true musou... Yeah...very disappointing...but it's already more balanced than the almighty + agility + attack power setup which is VERY VERY BROKEN. |

Well, I had heard that you could get 4th weapons on Chaos 1-2 star, but I've also just on Zuo Ci's, Zhang Jiao's and Pang Tong's dream which is a 2 star, and on hard, got a bunch of 4th weapons. My Karma level is 9. Hmm... a few days ago I recently unlocked Xiahou Dun's, Lu Meng's and Guan Yu's stage but decided to not play it because my Xiahou Dun is level 62, Guan Yu is like 15-20 and Lu Meng is the same. So I have made my mind up to train the other two towards a high level and do it on Chaos when the time comes. I have all but 7 stages unlocked in this mode, but also a few existing ones I haven't played on yet. |

I apologize if this post ain't in the right section, but for the next Orochi game I think they should make it two discs. The first disc should be the actual game they intended to put out and the second disc should be all cutscenes. Hear me out, I think this game/series could be on an epic level as far as story because the decision to bring Orochi into the mix was genius, now they don't have to follow history. The stories, quotes, cutscenes that are in the game are ok but I feel they don't really explain alot. What is the current state of the new world Orochi created? Is he in control of most of the land like an evil emporer? Do the kingdoms of Wu, Shu, and Wei have to hide out like rebels and plot to overthrow him? How do the regular people live and interact with with the armies? Do they view Cao Cao, Nobunaga etc. as saviors bringing hope? I mean the possibilties are endless and I feel they don't see what this could become. I doubt they have battles everyday, so the second disc should show what goes on between them. For example, show a cutscene of Ieyasu giving hanzo orders to infiltrate Orochi's camp and show hanzo do it. Show Musashi walking through a village and Orochi's men show up causing havoc and he saves the day. Show Kotaro going around playing both sides to the middle. Show how Orochi deals with the everyday running his army. I'd be here all day if I keep going but my point is that they are not maximizing the full potential of the story. Does anyone understand or agree with where I'm coming from? |

Yes, Masterless you should put it in this section below http://z13.invisionfree.com/koeiwarriors/i...opic=10685&st=0 Anyways, I just finished SW story today, which means im finished with all story modes. SW was great how they got everyone together, curious why Wu was included and not Wei or Shu. But at the end Sakon says hes going to visit an old friend, who is he talking about?
