This falls under the Support Attack feature and is also described in the game manual. Have fun!

You don't need a horse if you have that Speed increase thing. Mines 20 and the characters are as fast as the Red Hare

It just imporve character's attack strenght when they're on horse. How fast the horse is entirely up to the type of the horse itself. Though the best horses(Matsukaze and Red Hare) are faster than Wukong, he save time getting on/off horse and also save you from the ultimate annoyance - falling off horses.

If the first of the three is on DW, then you will have Red Hare if you have Cavalier on. But in your next battle if you go with Nobunaga, Zhao Yun, and Orochi for example, then you will have Matsukaze.

Wu-4 is probably better since you can complete it faster and do it more than once in a given amount of time. Use the Sun Jian "suicide trick" (assuming it still works in PSP version) to end the stage quickly and avoid the message spam at the end. You still keep your prof though

I already had the original on PS2, but I just needed the Xbox 360-versions of both games. Of course, I'll buy Warriors Orochi 2 for PS2 and PSP, as well.
