I really would like them to bring back SW Anegawa track ... though I know that will never happen :(

Other than that, I was happy with the new tracks from WO so I think I'll be ok in this one too. I agree with Chin though, 80-90% will be recycled material from previous games.

I believe Anegawa ~Sengoku2 Mix~ (from SW2XL) will be back! :)

WE WANT NEW STUFF! Don't we?

Well, DW6 also had several cut characters and a much smaller stage list than DW5, as well as cloned movesets, which probably contributed to the negative response.

On the other hand, MO:MS has over 90 characters and about 70 stages (if the ones from WO return, added to the new ones) so I doubt that some new music tracks/outfits would hurt. :)

I was referring to new stuff IN THIS GAME... like new costumes a la DW5 (well, idk about DW4 or lower..) Totally remade costumes would be better. I wont mind waiting if it's worth it.

i'm starting to get a good feeling about WO2, as though KOEI might have listened for once and improved on the inferior original(i am NOT a fan of WO), there seems to be multiple, more complex storylines and the (possible) inclusion in those stories of the less popular, overlooked characters. which was my main complaint about WO, that there was no story, and SO MANY of the really good less popular characters got pushed to the side for the standard poster-children.

does anyone know if there has been any information about WO2 coming out for 360? and this is a technical question, but does the region-free-ness for PS3 extend to PS2 games? i am really thinking of importing, if that option is feasible.

One thing for sure, lets try not to hav too much high hopes on the start until we get the game itself. the last time we had high hopes on dw 6 with all the cool intro and awesome gameplay and we ended up gettin a game that has less than half of its total no of characters havin story mode and the others having generic movesets.

Anyway its still gd to know that koei took the effort in creating new stages and characters. Lets just c how things go.

i was honestly far more impressed with DW6 than WO. the general improvements to the game, the new ideas, and possibility for additions to the franchise and character makeovers were great. i felt that WO was a much larger disappointment than DW6, i can deal with(not necessarily like) the kind of changes that DW6 had, with the possibility of redemption in the future. but WO will always stand as a failure to me because the storyline and many characters were so completely ignored.

Well yeah WO wasn't without flaws. They didn't do much on the plot and there are only two new characters makin the game kinda bland. Still despite dw6 shortcoming's i do agree that they are some gd stuff in which dw 6 improve from the previous game.

My only real concern is tat most of the charac in dw 6 felt like neglected.

Nothing has been revealed as of yet for the 360 ... as far as your importing PS2 question, I believe you have to do something specific to your PS2 or have an imported PS2 to play the game. I have no idea though if you are planning to play imported PS2 game on a localized PS3 ...

Ok ... :P *Hopes for SW Anegawa, but will settle for Sengoku 2 Remix version :( *

This ^ is just a dream, not to be taken literally. :P I'll have this game on pre-order regardless of the BGM included or not-included. Too many cool features to let this one pass. I only wish I could import it so that I could get it faster ^_^

They have to release it on the 360 do they not - how will they ever really crack the american market if they dont release it on the american bad boy console

Except the most common of choices - Japanese voices.

I hope that there's at least a few new tracks. I wouldn't only just want the one that you can listen to, on the latest promotion video, of that remix Warriors Orochi track.

Well, like I said nothing has been confirmed yet. Though, based on recent events with SW2:XL DLC, things aren't going too well with Microsoft and KOEI games -_-

Regardless, the first WO made it to 360, but released later in Japan and the US/EU release happened at the same time as PS2. If they do release it for Xbox, it will likely follow this same pattern (unless they opt for DLC, which I highly doubt -_- )

As far as cracking the US market, releasing this for 360 won't do anything. It doesn't even count as "next-gen" since it is simply a port of the PS2 version with 'slight' graphical enhancements. Even if it manages to sell better than DW6, it won't matter. KOEI's success in US market will depend on how well the titles they develop exclusively for next-gen systems perform.

You can't. Ps1 and PS2 games still employ region coding whereas PS3 games do not so it wouldn't work. You're gonna have to resort to the established methods of playing imports.

Now, almost all DW5/SW2 original VA's from their games were in the first WO... Do any of you believe some of the originals may return to WO2 or possibly the newest VA's from DW6 and such...?

I wish Cao Pi still has his original voice from DW5/WO... Kim Strauss is the man, but I doubt it will be the same for WO2 in the near future.

(First, sorry if this's been asked. You know It's hard to keep updated with these pages)

Any expectation for the seiyuu(Japanese VA) for these New characters?
I can tell Sun Wukong's seiyuu is Takehito Koyasu by just listening to His gameplay movie ( :P ), (Which I can say, will help MO boost it's popularity (on fangirls, reaaally). Koyasu-sama is one of the most famous seiyuu ^^ ever)
I can also guess Taigong Wang's seiyuu is Ishida Akira, but not really sure.
Any expectation for the others?

I would find it most pleasing if Taigong Wang's voice was done by Akira Ishida <3 I'd have a fanboy squee.

lol Taigong Wang's seiyuu is not Ishida Akira. My seiyuu fanatic friend confirmed it. It has similar traits to it, but the tonality and the voice is a little manlier compared to Ishida's. xD
I would have really liked it if his seiyuu was Ishida though. He is one of my favourite seiyuus (alongside many others). *__*

And it's good to see that KOEI is bringing in more seasoned and well-knowned seiyuus to voice the characters. ^_^
