Im getting swept away in a wave of nostalgia seeing some of the games i played years ago getting discussed here on this forum (ah, the good old days). Made me think back to Rings of Power and Buc Rogers. Who has played these old megadrive classics from EA? Rings of Power was a game so big, so indepth and so godammned difficult that were talking about requiring months of time and dedication to see and find everything needed just to complete the game (without a walkthrough of course). It took me a week+ as i recall just to gather together the 6 members of your party. Buc Rogers was one of the original sci-fi based RPGs. It was the first game i played personally that let you create your entire party from scratch, from class to the alien race they were. It was a great game in its day and gave me months of replayable pleasure. These werent the best RPGs out there but were great to play at the time and i have many fond memories of them, feel free to discuss them and any other long forgotten non mainstream RPG from the old Sega console ie Sword of Vermillion. |
