OMB! I can't believe Koei has decide to make Jiang Ziya, the fame legendary Chinese strategist that laid the foundation of the 800 year old Zhou dynasty. He looks awesome!  His weapon is a fishing pole I believe from the picture. In history, he had attracted King Wen of Zhou by fishing on the banks of a river without a bait. I made a short Bio about him a while back- Jiang Ziya Bio 1 Jiang Ziya Bio 2 Discussion about him here. He also ordered the execution of Da Ji in which King Wu of Zhou killed her personally. |

Your surname is Qiu/Yau(邱), the Qiu's are direct descendants of the Jiang's from the state of Qi(Warring States Period) that split from the Jiang clan. Jiang Ziya is the first ruler of the state of Qi when King Wu made him King of Qi after the fall of Shang. That makes you a direct descendants from the Jiang clan of Qi, so yes, he is your ancestor.  zenkokuku is also a Jiang, he's your cousin! LOL @CHIN: DUDE! are you serious? Dunno if you can read Chinese text there yes it's Taigong Wang (Jiang Ziya) No much people know about this tho! That Tai is Taigong Wang in Mystic Heroes! EDIT: OMG I'm the old KOEI gamer! I mean I've known KOEI for 11 years! So I played a lot of their old games. I believe that time KOEI hadn't been in overseas yet, Omega Force hadn't exist but we have Destrega by the creator of DW2-6, WO and BS and you guys were still babies! |

Yea I can read it. I just never thought he was Tai lol, I thought he was made up or something for Mystic Heroes. I know Naja was Ne Zha the mythical god, and several of the other characters in the game. I use to own a copy of Mystic Heroes way back, I don't have it anymore. O.O PRETTY GUY ALERT!?!?!?! Well, Koei sure knows how to create a lot of pretty guys... I mean yeah I have to say that Ranmaru and Mitsunari are probably 2 of the prettiest guys KOEI made.. I never knew KOEI would come up with some new characters but dayum now they are getting back to their A Game.. not like what they did to the weapons of the DW6 Cast, now this is what I call KOEI's Heart on fire again xD. |

Well I must admit, he certainly does look intersting. Though I half expected him to be an old man from his bio. And him having Da Ji executed would be a great scene in this game. Or maybe even a fight scene between the two. |

Honestly, I wasn't all that interested in Taigong Wang except for the fact that he's a brand new character...guys wielding fishing poles that I know nothing about aren't my thing. Then I read his bio and realized that this man is where they got the name for the Lu Shang's fishing rod in Final Fantasy XI, which is the best rod in the game (Or rather, was...there's only one better rod that I know of, it's only better because it's unbreakable, whereas Lu Shang only breaks on certain legendary fish...and you NEED Lu Shang's rod to get it anyway.) and now I'm more interested...Taira looks interesting as well..although from what I hear he's a bad guy, which sorta sucks because he doesn't look like one.. On a side note, looking at those screens of...Houshin Engi, was it?Looking at the second game makes me hope a fan translation will be released at some point like they did for Legend of Cao Cao XD |

This is just so sweet, I'm guessing the other Gods from Mystic Heroes are going to be added, I'm pretty sure there's going to be more characters. Just an assumption, can't wait to see Ne Zha(Naja) and those other gods or even Sun Wukong(The Monkey King). Di Xin(Daji's husband, the King of Shang), Bi Gan and Ji Fa(King Wu of Zhou) might also be added since their story is all related to Daji's part. |

lol Da Ji has green hair in the screenshots ^^ Mystic Heroes characters looks funny It's already great they added Taigong Wang & Taira no Kiyomori in WO 2
But yes, we may hope for more added ^^
I didn't remember well, but I think she was a famous woman warrior in Japan ^^ She fought in the side of her husband in every battle. |

I hope they add some new female characters... But Jiang Ziya is so awsome!!! He has purple eyes!!!! Purple is my favorite color! If you go look at the website and click on his character thing you see his eyes!! Who else likes this??
