One thing that make me confuse is, why people in Shu can't recognize Taigong Wang as the great strategist in his age? While in Wu Story, Motochika Chosokabe can recognize Yoshitsune Minamoto as the great hero in his age. :)

If I remember correctly, Zhuge Liang does have a conversation with Taigong Wang where he willfully admits that his strategies are of no comparison to Taigong Wang's.

Also, there may be more exchanges in the aftermath conversations where Shu first meets Taigong Wang. In gameplay, only the characters of Wu recognize who Yoshitsune is. But in the aftermath conversations, most of the SW cast recognize him like Gracia, Mitsunari, Yukimura, Kanetsugu, Takeda Shingen, etc. as the hero they've read about in stories.

As for my opinion of the character, I personally don't like him very much. He has a cool design and moveset, but he is by far the most arrogant character in the game (yes, even more so than Lu Bu, Musashi, and Tadakatsu). Like Nu Wa put it, Taigong Wang speaks as if he were on stage, which makes his defeat in Orochi's last stage all the more embarassing. For after all that monologuing, he really couldn't do a thing about Orochi's return.

Thank you for your opinion. :) At first I thought that in WO2 he will have the same personality like the history as calm, modest, quiet and not arrogance. Also I thought that Koei made him young just to make him attract to players. Now his personality makes me quite disappoint.

I tried out his YinYang balls (R1 sets them off by the way)

Seriously, stack 5 of them against one officer, press R1 and watch the carnage.

I hope that his R1 will make more damage if I know the correct way to plant Yin-Yang balls.

I think that's unlikely...Koei tries to keep their stories loosely based on history. I've never seen them pair up characters from two different lands, and time periods. All the couples in the game so far were couples in actual history.

I don't think Himiko and Taigong Wang ever interacted (in history), seeing as how they were from different time periods.

Besides, I really cannot see the two of them in a relationship -_-

I like the giant bait that appears from the ground when Taigong Wang does his charge attacks.

Well -_- At first I thought that the one who will fight against Orochi X and Da Ji were Susanoo and Taigong Wang. Before the game released, I had thought that Susanoo will be in this game and thought that if Orochi will be revived and Da Ji still his strategist then Susanoo and Taigong Wang should appear together as their arch-enemy and defeat them. (To the fact that Susanoo is the one who slained Orochi and Taigong Wang is the one who ordered the execution of Da Ji personally.

I thought Taigong had a really cool designa and I thought he'd be a great character

However, whe I played the game I was very disappointed, I hate this personality
and his strange moveset and weapon.

However, I still think he looks cool

Taigong Wang is my first new character that I play in Shu. He is so awesome men. But to me, he is more better than Nu Wa. Fu Xi well, I find it the same. Overall, he and Himiko is my 'Top 1' most favorite character. But there are others too.

Yep the lack of Susanoo was pretty disappointing. I'd be interested in how he'd obtain the Murakumo no Tsurugi though given this Orochi's humanoid form.

As for Taigong Wang, I do like the fishing thing. But I can't help but feel that thing's be more complete if they had the rest of the crew from that story Mystic Heroes was based on.

He was in my team for the entire Shu Story. But I absolutely hated him when I tried to get the Bowl of Buddha, but after I found out that it was my fault. I forgave him...

Taigong Wang is a very enjoyable addition to the series. The fishing rod is an interesting weapon to use. I was a bit surprised how fun it was to use with his moveset. I think he was good choice to stick with Shu.

Taigong Wang is really fun to play as since his moveset is pretty much all awsome. The only thing I don't like about him is well, that he's an @$$hole. It's annoying how he talks down to everybody, humans especially. But other than that I enjoy using him.

Why did KOEI portray Wang as a god anyways?

I like Wang has Great Movest, and his Charge attack Deals are great for when you are Surround and His Weapon is very Unqiue...

@Master Sima Yi-Hmm...If Not Mistaken the Reason they have Wang as a God is because Da Ji is fox Demon...They wanted to display the rivalry between them...Of how they are different and he is Supior to her...
The Darkness is all around the weak fall to it,while the Strong control it...Posted Image

Also he is considered the Chinese God of Strategy if I recall correctly. At any rate he is definately an immortal in terms of the game.

What do Oda Nobunaga, Guan Yu and Li Jue have in common?
They were all killed by their subordinates. They also all serve Genbu for the cuase of Justice.

And immortality in Warriors Orochi? Why did Orochi die twice then? (no offense)

I think Lord_Redhand means this "immortal" as senkai in japanese language :). And I think it is odd if we call them as "forever" or "eternal" instead of "immortal". So to be more precise, this "immortal" means gods that can live forever but they can also be killed.

Why is "eternal" odd and "immortal" not? Mortality means you can die. If you're immortal and you die, you're not immortal. You live eternally. Mortality has no place with that.
