Yes it is! The game has over 100-hours-worth just for the story alone, and I know the likes of Warriors Orochi can surpass that amount easily, but that's very decent for Koei's first PS3 strategy title. It will give high hopes to a Bladestorm 2 if it were ever to show itself. The difficulty isn't so hard if you just use mounted men. But if you wanted to give yourself a task, use as many variations as possible for diversity. The game features completely different music compared to the DW/SW series due to background and location, but its a pleasant change. And there are many cutscenes in this, too. So if you do decide to buy, make sure to check my FAQ for help or details of any kind. Edited by LittleDragonZ, Jan 20 2009, 08:01 PM.

I am bloody certain that if you actually get this game, you will get many hours of game time out of it. The action style is quite different to that of DW/SW/WO, but its an interesting thing that Koei has done with the game. The storyline, and the characters, are quite easy to follow and understand, and the very large assortment of units that you can use will keep things interesting as you go through it ![]() Also, if theres anything in the game, or in LDZ's FAQ that you just dont understand, feel free to ask us any questions that you like

This game is EASILY worth it. It bugs me there's no two-player or multiplayer, but even single player takes ages (in a good way). And completing the game on the French side and seeing the credits roll to the awesome soundtrack was probably the most satisfying gaming experience I've had in a looong time. |
