Kiyomori looks pretty evil I must say but he kind of reminds me of Jinpachi. He was revealed/added before Yoshitsune was.
	Wisdom has existence, principle has existence, the Way has existence, spirit is nothingness. Arigato to Blackkite. Kirigakure Saizo, Hattori Hanzou, Sasaki Kojiro, Ii Naomasa, and Tachibana Muneshige for SB3!

I guess he has a DW style moveset and his C4 seems to be his best move, his C3-2? has that huge blast at the end plus it gives him that defensive shield that actually explodes when in contact with enemies :ph43r: His S8 also has the red aura blast at the end, his C5 looks like another decent crowd move, and his musou looks wickedly powerful. The only thing I didn't see well enough was his special. It took a HUGE chunk of musou, but because it was used on a peon, I couldn't tell what kind of damage it did.

General Posts: 291 Group: Members Member #2,300 Joined: June 18, 2006	I just checked, and Kiyomori's R1 does absorb life (a pretty hefty amount as well). It also deals a significant amount of damage, at least to the generics I've tried it with.

His moveset does look good and so does his weapon but there is something about which doesn't seem very appealing to me. He seems like an interesting addition but still. We'll see when I get the game some day.

I was trying to compare the structure of his moves to other characters and his C3 looked like it had DW-like C3 progression (like Sun Ce). I wonder if he has become the Dong Zhuo of MO:MS ... the enemy commander you have to fight repeatedly before getting to Orochi I would like to know more about how he fits into the story and what his motivation for doing these things is. Though finding out would be a huge spoiler no doubt

Posts: 2,736 Group: Members Member #4,229 Joined: November 17, 2006	if i'm not mistaken, Kiyomori and Yoshitsune's families were historical rivals in the Heian period. he pretty much wiped out the Minamoto family line, exiling Yoshitsune and another half-brother. later the remaining Minamoto would be the downfall of the Taira. Kiyomori died a horrible death of some sort of fever and was said to have been so hot with fever he burned anyone trying to help him. in this state, i believe, he was said to have had visions of/conferred with demons, which sort of explains the Orochi connection. this is a simplified version of a much larger story.

Now I know why Kiyomori pants after he attacks ... he's too old and tired after playing around with his hoola hoop :lol: :mellow: In all seriousness, I would like to know what triggers that. I thought I was able to determine how after watching a couple of gameplay videos, but after TSK's last one I'm not sure anymore how he does it

And from what i've seen on the vids on Youtube, he can do serious damage with his rosary. His moveset is like Zuo Ci, both physical and magical attacks. It's great to see that Orochi has a new demonic sidekick besides Da Ji. Those 3 should've had their own Dream mode stage... Does Kiyomori play a role in Orochi's story mode, or does he only appear as a bad guy on the other 4 stories?
