KOEI Warriors Faction Founder & KOEI Game Promoter Posts: 844 Group: Members Member #10,622 Joined: October 26, 2007	KOEI has to make a DW6 XL to fix all the remaining mistakes they made otherwise if they don't i won't look at them the same again but i'm certain they'll make it since they know there's still some work left to be done to the DW6 Series.

You mean like declone everyones movesets! They don't need to give the characters new weapons (if they do I don't mind XD) just give them unique movesets! Also bringing back the characters they lost would be awesome not to mention adding some Unique NPCs...

KOEI Warriors Faction Founder & KOEI Game Promoter Posts: 844 Group: Members Member #10,622 Joined: October 26, 2007	They won't have to do much since after seeing DW6 Empires movesets these are all the characters with cloned Movesets that are left Pike Moveset: Cao Ren Xu Huang Guan Ping Lu Meng Club Moveset: Dong Zhuo Wei Yan Xu Zhu Huang Gai Staff Moveset Zhang Jiao Pang Tong Whip Moveset Zhen Ji Diao Chan Short Sword Moveset Sun Quan Yuan Shao Big Sword Moveset Zhou Tai Huang Zhong Xiahou Yuan All they's have to do is make 8 or 9 of these characters have new weapons and let the remaining ones keep their's solving the clone problem once and for all and if they add the 6 Cut out Characters plus 3 or 4 more (I'm seriously prepared to wait a whole year just for it to be possible) then i'm sold i'll give KOEI as long as they need on this as long as they ACTUALLY work on it.

Is Dynasty warriors online coming to ps3 in U.S.A.???? and WHERE DO I FIND A GOOD AVATAR!!(I like my Zhuge Zhan one but want a new one).......

Decloning all the characters is a must even if giving them new weapons is not but for real replay value they must also take all the characters on the current roster and give them a musou mode of their own... having only around a dozen in DW6 meant it was Free Mode only to level up about 2 thirds of the cast which really meant there was no incentive to do so without a story plot to develop them and indeed restricted you to the exact same easier maps given the jump in difficulty between one map to another for low level characters (all this also not helped by clone movesets - in the end there were a few characters i never bothered using such as Zhen Ji) As for the cut characters i see no reason why not having the likes of Pang De and Da Qiao return but Da for example is only ideal a return if Sun Ce gets a run in the spotlight in a next gen DW title as in DW6 he was overlooked meaning it was understandable Xiao made the cut but Da didnt (as Zhou Yu on the other hand DID get a musuo mode)

I think after DW6 Xtreme Legends is released DW7 might be the last for the series... don't know how much longer SW series will go on for depends how good SW3 and the future SW3s after that... Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors are my favorite video game series it will be lame when Koei stops making them... ah but oh well right? XD

XD I understand what you mean, Astus, and you have a point, too, Ranger Strider. However I feel there's still room for improvements on the characters' stories and personalities, and of course on the cloned/non-fitting movesets (in DW6). Also without adding any new characters, just keep the existent ones (all of them) and deepen their stories, personalities and relationships. Unfortunately DW6 didn't have Musou Modes for all the characters (yes, infamous thing), but in general I liked what they did with the stories. By the way, I played DW6 for PS2, and the Musou Modes for the decloned characters were among my favourites. That's why I think that the Three Kingdoms period (same for the Sengoku era, but this is a DW6 topic) still has something to offer.

No it does not sorry. However, it has a online ranking board for the challenge mode, but that's it. But Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce for the PS3 which is getting a Feb 19th 2010 release date in the EU will have online play.
