A little bit biased on JP character design in my opinion but he looks really cool and a bit over with the lightsaber (what the hell all the samurai warriors get such cool weapons and dynasty warriors get things just like a fishing rod) and yeah I like him!

I would expect him to be the favorite for many people here now. And obviously I would expect him to have moves such as Nagamasa's R1 beam from Warriors Orochi(futuristic as DarkDante said), and to swing his weapon like a Gundam(yay BK!) or like Nobunaga(his musou style.)

He still looks like several parts of different warriors cut out and pasted onto a template and recolored, to me.

His helmet is the only thing that, to me, looks perfectly unique. Perhaps the things jutting out of his shoulder pads as well.

However, he was a good character to add, and his weapon should be cool.

Edit-Benkei would be cool, Crimson. Personally, I'd say Tomoe Gozen might be a good add as well.

Agree with you on that one Slick.

EDIT: It's like part Ma Chao, Zhao Yun, Sima Yi and Zhuge Liang with Shingen's hair all bunched up into one with a colour change. Also Tomoe Gozen would be an awesome choice for a female warrior addition!

Point taken about the "futuristic" comment Ryan.

But there was a sense when KOEI first made these games that they set some historical precedent. From the generics of DW2, before items were introduced. To SW1 with its classic Japanese music and gloomy/we're hopless stages.

And Nobunaga wields a glowing sword everyone, not an actual lightsaber. Its still at least a sword.
