Hmm..looking around his weapons stats and I realised this: His 3rd weapon is the Nyoi-bo (如意棒) which is the shortned form of the Jingu Staff His 4th weapon is the Seiten-Taisei (齊天大聖) aka "Great Sage, Equal of Heaven". Awesome no? |

Sun Wukong is by far one of my favourites. He was my first to rush to unlock and I maxed him and his weapon out first. He's so much fun to play as. |

I havent played as him yet, but he is very annoying to play against. Kind of stinks, because no matter what(previously) you could always run the opposite way and no one to catch up to you, not anymore though, because there is no running away from Sun Wukong <_< This guy is tough, and that is deffinitely what makes him so difficult to fight. |

His speed is incredible no doubt. Speed up items don't make him go any faster. KOEI has instilled him with permanent speed+30% power up, on top of the default max speed you'd get at 99, which he has at lvl1. And hey, in addition to his VA, he runs in style ala GLIDES ON A CLOUD THINGY o_o. |

A strong and very fast character. The Nimbus serves him well. Has a great sense of humor and fuuny lines. He seems to like Kiyomori but has a problem (like many others) with Da Ji. He seems to hate taking orders from her (which can be seen in the Moto/Zhang/Diao Dream Stage). Guess she's naturally hated by almost everyone except Himiko, Orochi, and Kiyomori. |

I just got him after finishing Wei story. Still havent played a level with him yet, but I did use him in Survival mode. And I have to say that he is one of the worst survival mode characters, his attacks are just not the ones that are most effective for knocking people away and out of the ring. And the speed doesnt help one bit. Im sure he is great in a regualer level, but Survival mode is just a different scenerio for who is good and who isnt. |

 Oh my ...Playing as Sun Wukong is insanely fun. His speed is just broken, his moveset is effective for both crowds and officers, and summoning midgets FTW :lol: I love the fact that he's a SPD character. I love canceling out of his charge attack recovery lag and continuing the mayhem :ph43r: He moves around so much and so quickly that it takes a bit of adjustment at first, but once you get used to him, he just shreds the battlefield. |

lol Sun Wukong is a great character In Bai Di Castle(Sangoku stage 7), let Hideyoshi run up to Sun Wukong in the stone sentinel maze and you see a cutscene with them |

The first thing I did when I unlocked him was get his 4th weapon first and level him up to 20 with Character Growth, after I actually used him and wow, he far exceeds my already high exceptions, his VA suits him perfectly, his moveset is awesome and excellent in crowd clearing and summoning midget versions of himself or turning giant himself immediately won me over... this guy is truly the best character added in MO2...

Wow is he great....and so so so fast. He really packs a punch that breaks any defence as simply hes in and at them before they can block most of the time. His moveset has a few handy charges but he comes into his own with a wide variety of strong specials which cost little in musou. The lightning - not the quickest to activate but covers a lot of area The monkeys - mini Wukongs attack all directly in front of you The Giant - my fave, he goes beserk and whallops everything and everyone whilst not strong is very useful and awesome to watch The only fault i could find with his was his musuo wasnt up to much but thats it....even his horse attack impressed me (not that he needs to get in a horse when he can whizz about on his own cloud) |

Oh yeah Sun Wukong is super awesome & so funny!!  (Just playing him today XD)He has already Speed Max at lvl1 (fly in his cloud), his moveset & personnality are very funny ^^ What an original & excellent character Plus, his moveset & his design suits well Sun Wukong in Journey to the West His moveset look like inspired by his magic powers in the book  In Orochi first stage, Sun Wukong says something about monkey to Hideyoshi lol |

He has a very good moveset, that can kill enemies easily even in chaos difficulty. But after playing as him for some time, I got annoyed. |

He has many good movesets which I used to defeat officers and I like to use his Giant transformation. It makes little damage but fun to use.

Sun Wukong is a great character. Because of his incredibly high speed, I don't need to ride the fastest horses in the game, as he can take me to where I want to go in half the time they can. His combos are great for taking out lots of enemies (particularly his C4), and he has pretty good special attacks (midgets and giant Wukong FTW). Overall, one of the great new characters, aside from Yoshitsune. |

I love his mini Sun Wukong technique. Reminds me of the part in 'The Forbidden Kingdom' where Sun WuKong created a clone to fight the Jade Warlord. The warlord was wasting his efforts fighting the clone, while real one just sat there eating an apple and giggling

Actually, its quite the opposite, Sun Wukong is only about half the speed as the fastest horse. If you want to get some where as fast as you can then level 15 Cavalier is much faster then Sun Wukong. And it actually disapoints me that you cant get any faster with him, he just stays at the same level

I can see how that could be disappointing, but his speed went any higher, Sun Wukong would be labeled as "broken", which around here, seems to be a bad thing. |

You know, Wukong was the last (excluding Orochi X) character I unlocked, and 2bh I was very disappointed. I always though Wukong's look/design in WO2 was never a brilliant one, he dosn't make me think of the 'Monkey King', just a cocky prat who never pisses off (sori). He is very fast but slow at attacking, I am quite annoyed with Wukong, making him my worst 'new' WO character. |

It's because he's magical power in his original story Journey To The West, & has the ability to go the fastest (in some minutes or seconds I think) where he wants & jump on a cloud when he uses that power ^^ (well correct me everyone if I didn't understand well this passage in the book XD) Welcome here, The Tiger of Jiang Dong But sorry to ask you that : can you resize your sig please, I think the size is too big compared to the allowed size in the rules...
