Well, I walk arround this section, there's no topic about Zhou Yu. Tell you guys, what do you think about him? Me?Well, he's just my favorite character since Dynasty Warriors ONE.Then, the fisical changes they put on him in DW 5 doesn't satisfy me, my favorite version of him is still on 3 and 4, but I want that explosion true musou =P |

There are a few other characters who do not have a topic yet, like Zhang Fei.
 Zhou Yu for me is a pretty unique character, especially because most of us techniques evolve around dancing. Like his C3, C4 and musou. And his musou being my favourite out of the lot, followed by his C4 close behind. His voices from the current expansions are all awful. And saying that, his voice from Dynasty Warriors 4 is probably the best so far.

Zhou Yu is one of my favourite characters too. ^^ He has a cool moveset, a good personnality and a great style (his voices are excellent). I prefer Zhou Yu in DW4 or DW5 compared to Zhou Yu in DW3 or others DWs  He's a super swordman (better than some swordmen).

I say he and Cao Cao are the 2 best sword characters in the game. Give him dragon amulet +20 and let the good times roll with his musou. Good strength and speed, but I question the effectiveness of some of his attacks in certain situations. But as a personality and character I have no problem with Zhou Yu. |

One of my fave attacks with Zhou Yu would have to be his C4, it's a good combo maker and it keeps the enemy infront of you. But it also is really rubbish, it doesn't always bounce and can leave you wide open to attack and you can also bounce into a crowd of enemys, without help.... It does look good though, thats the only reason i use it... |

He's one of my favourite sword users. His style is really original. He's a good character for the beginners, but also for the veterans, and it's easy to combo with him. I don't really like his appearance in DW5 (he looks better in the 4) but that's not really important. I also miss his last charge in DW4, but his DW5's isn't that bad, just that it's short range now... |

Yup decent and good but not bad , it depends on the player. in dw vol2 it's bad to use him since he cant crowd kill and morale goes down very slow.. I forgot what his tactic was |

I loved that beam attack he did in DW3 and DW4, you could take people out without them even charging at you. |

I don't like moves like those, as I feel they don't belong in the series as they are too futureristic. And I know the games are not realistic, but where do they draw the boundaries in creating these kind of moves?? But of course if they hadn't of used attacks like those, Koei would of run out of ideas by now. |

His Musou is awesome and Zhou Yu is one of the few swordsmen that I play. I usually prefer pikes and more unique weapons like Zhen Ji's, but Zhou Yu's move sets especially his Musou is real nice. Personality wise, i have no problem either

My favorite character since DW2. Really nice musou, all around good character to play with, and a great personality because it reminds me of myself to an extent lol. It's funny how he's my fav character but I HATE the battle of chi bi with a passion. |

Zhou Yu is a fun character to use, very swift due to his speed. His musou is very average but his true musou makes up for it. The only think I didn't like about his character was his DW5: XL and Empires voice.. He sounds like a squeaky mouse. >.< |

Zhou Yu is a good character to use and i loved his story mode in dw5 but i hate his dw5xl and dw5e voices it makes me shudder cause it sounds awful

ok sry..Well here..Zhou pwns because he was one of MAIN characters in Chi Bi.. He helped Sun Ce a lot.. Zhou Yu's sword is a lot better looking than the other two strategists..Zhuge Liang and Sima Yi.. |

Zhou Yu is probaly the best juggler in all of DW and SW.I can think of many juggling combos but the longgest i think is that you do C1 then C2 quickly.After that,do a full C3 combo and before its finishs,do a musou,then go to him and do a C5 as long as you think the person your hitting wont somersault.Then do another C1 then a C3. |

Zhou Yu is okay... he doesnt seem that special because there are alot of Sword characters and few Fan guy characters... I dislike Zhuge Liang White fan... I wish it was dark and white like the Tv series. |

Defiantly one of my favorite characters, he is one of he most well rounded officers in the Three Kingdoms in my opinion. He's smart, charismatic, an able fighter (come on now, how can you not respect him) |

I think he's ok, the way he attack and fight was strong, juz like the way how someone dance with a sword... About his personality, I think is okay too cuz he helps Sun Ce a lot and he's also a loveble husband. But the only thing I don really like 'bout him was he was too competitive with Zhuge Liang (which cause his death in the end...) |

Zhou Yu is a pretty good character IMO. His moveset is so graceful.
I love his running attack. I don't like his voice though.
