Should be included: I think that Gongsun Zan really deserves to be a playable character. He has an important role with Liu Bei and he has a cool background. B) Ma Su and Lu Su should also be up there in the hall of players as well. They're just good. Wen Chou and Yan Liang, or one of the other Yuan brothers should be playable. Yuan Shao needs company. Same with Zhang Jiao. They should have his brothers or something. WHY CUT PANG DE? He's soo important! What is Wan Castle without him? Cao Pi is there. Sun Quan and Sun Ce is there. WHERE IS LIU BEI'S SON? Okay, we all know that he's a useless wimp, but it's kind of unfair to Shu. Give the immature a chance... Should be cut: Diao Chan. She ruined Lu Bu and no one even knows whether she exists or not. Sure, she's kinda attractive, but SHE'S USELESS! Get her outta there! :angry: WHO THE HELL IS XIAO QIAO? A little childish wife of Zhou Yu. Sorry fans of Xiao Qiao. Her sister went, she should go too. That's all I think for now. My opinions might change in a matter of time. But for now, I want to see what you think. :mellow:

	http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/fixdw6/ - The petition for KOEI to release additional content for DW6. Please spread the word, but no duplicate signatures! We got them to release ROTK11 on the PC in English, so let's continue to give them input so that they release even better games.

~Distuinguished And Noble~ Posts: 127 Group: Members Member #187 Joined: November 30, 2005	I think everyone assumes that people like Gongsun Zan, Yan Liang and Wenchou and the like would be good characters to add, but if you stop and think, you realise just how little they actually did. Yan Liang and Wen Chou for example, lived on their reputation of being formidable fighters, but so did Ji Ling, Hu Che-Er and Wang Shuang. One thing I do think names like these bring up is that the earlier periods leading up the formation of the Three Kingdoms should be explored more. Cao Cao's battles with Yuan Shu, Yuan Shao's battles with Gongsun Zan etc. After all, it is these events which contributed to the story as well, and massively.

As for people who should be added... Why not make maps of Dong Zhou's earlier battles? Like the one's in Dynasty Warriors 5? With those brings me to my point: Hua Xiong. guardian of Shi Sui Gate. He was with the tyrant from early on, plus, he was a skilled warrior. (A nice cut scene of him dying in a climactic battle would be nice.) Lets see....who else.... Jiang Qin. Former Pirate, and friend to Zhou Tai. He contributed a lot to Wu's naval forces, he was skilled with a spear, and, it would be nice if they showed Zhou Tai with some friends...(Other than Sun Quan.) That's all I can think of for now, I'll just edit this post when ever new thoughts float in.

~Distuinguished And Noble~ Posts: 127 Group: Members Member #187 Joined: November 30, 2005	You talk about Jiang Qin, but there are probably 10 officers in Wu that did as much if not more than him, Zhu Huan, Cheng Pu, Xu Sheng etc. I think Koei are starting to run out of the generals that played the biggest roles, but even so, I don't agree with characters being cut, I could understand no added characters, but to take some away I'm not too keen on.

da pwnR Posts: 204 Group: Members Member #13,004 Joined: January 31, 2008	add: wei------ sima zhao---sima yi's son should be in right? cao zhi/cao pen-----the other two sons of caocao are very talented as well, they are almost as cool as caopi shu--- liu shan-----give iu bei's son a chance, especially another ruler's daugter had gone in already cai mao-----well, he had work for shu beginning to end, plus, he is a yellow turban, we should have another playable yellow turban than zhang jiao wu jiang qin----a pirate and apear in almost all the battle zhu ran----he worked for wu his whole life and is critical to sucess at yi ling(set fire) other hua xiong-----capable warrior and you need someone other than lubu to fight for that fat tyrant gongsun zan-----another important warlord, if dong and yuan are there, he need to be there. wenchou,yanliang-----well, reputed capable fighter and killed b guan yu in an actual cutscene chen gong-----i hate seeing generic stratagist guys standing and talking to lu bu at all his cutscene
	Dong Zhao is da best...hahahahahahahahahahahahhaha!!owned

I'm sorry. :mellow: But about Gongsun Zan I disagree. If Koei managed to squeeze in a few battles for old Zhang Jiao, Gongsun Zan should have just as much, if not more. This will add a little bit to Zhao Yun's story as well, and the Battle of Chang Shan will have two sides. Also, considering the fact that in the beginning he was just as great a warlord as Cao Cao or Liu Bei, I don't see why Dynasty Warriors can't take on another playable force.

But for now, I want to see what you think. :mellow: hmm dunno about Diao Chan being cut. sure, she's probably a myth but she's Lu Bu's downfall. Personally, I find his downfall much more...how to say... epic? than just a well-aimed arrow or some other battle wound. agreed with X-Qiao though. It really should be both or nothing. also agreeing with the better English Voice Actors. WO in particular had horrible voice acting, especially for the generics. Generics are important, too... Just briefly going over to other areas of management, I think the jump between difficulty levels should be a little less. Also, sticking just the bit closer to history where/if possible would also be good, I think. Not completley, but maybe just a bit more. anyway, getting back to the characters discussion, I'd love to see most of the removed characters come back. Some (ok, just Xing Cai) i'm indifferent about, but other characters that were removed were great, or important to history. Oh and I'm only not indifferent about X-Qiao because her sister got cut and not her as well. At least these guys are still in WO though, hey?

General Posts: 231 Group: Members Member #7,322 Joined: May 12, 2007	Hmmmmm Other Li Jue or Guo Si both of these men held power after Dong Zhou and had several successful campaigns/raids before falling against each other. Yuan Shu- Campaign Against Yuan Shu Gongsun Zan- a fairly influential person on young Liu Bei, invited Liu Bei to both the YTR and The Alliance against Dong Zhou (Preparing for flames) Shu Mi Fang- Think about it. His character could present an opportunity to take the Shu kingdom to places it really hasn't been, and maybe even present Liu Bei and Guan Yu differently. Wu Zhu Ran- really I'm sure other Wu players would prefer someonelike Ceng Pu or something, but for me Zhu Ran the wayto go for future Wu characterness (/I'm tired of protecting him...)
	What do Oda Nobunaga, Guan Yu and Li Jue have in common? They were all killed by their subordinates. They also all serve Genbu for the cuase of Justice. KW's Zhou Yu Posts: 2,353 Group: Members Member #64 Joined: September 11, 2005	excellent choice on Yuan Shu Red Hand. How awesome would Yuan Shu's story be? Starts with Si Shui Gate and not sending the supplies to Sun Ce's reign to being Emperor. the last battle could be when he faces the armies of Liu Bei, Lu Bu, Cao Cao, and Sun Ce(forgot where). He could be the next bad A** beside Dong Zhuo. Also We if Li Jue or Guo Si were in then we have two friends who in the end face each other for power.

All is according to heaven's decree Posts: 601 Group: Members Member #4,735 Joined: December 28, 2006 Gender Male	If I would be manager of Koei, and were able to edit DW, I'd go for the following: - Remove the Qiao sisters, Zhen Ji, Diao Chan and Xing Cai Have they ever, and I mean EVER fought or done ANYTHING really important in history? I believe not. I'd take them out for the best of the game, since it's a headchopping game. These characters have never fought anything. (Sorry to all the fans) - Add Jiang Wei Why would he be removed? He was Shu's final hope in desperate times, and he faired quite good. - Add Ma Dai Brave fighter and slayer of Wei Yan. Could be a great level for Ma Dai to obtain his unique weapon. - Add Deng Ai If Zhuge Liang gets his apprentice, then Sima Yi may get his. Besides, Deng Ai vs Jiang Wei battles were very interesting. - Add Sima Zhao Since Sima Shi died a little too quick for my liking, Sima Zhao gets in. I'd like to add Sima Yan for completion, but I believe Sima Zhao did some more battles. - Add Ding Feng Wu's best late era general, IMO. Why not add him. - Add Zhu Ran Had a couple of good battles, can make Yi Ling a little less boring then it already is. - Add more levels after Wu Zhang Wu Zhang was far from the last battle to unite China. Bring more levels to clearify history just a bit. And of course make the game a big project, other than a mediocre milking machine. Thus better graphics, a good battling system and a difficult AI for even on normal mode. I'm keeping the early games DW has now. There is no need for more of those, and definately not for a character called Cheng Pu.
