Koei has added a new female character into MOMS (besides from Nu Wa and Gracia). She's Himiko from Kessen II (I haven't played the game, I just repeat what BlackKite said :P) She has connection with both Chinese and Japanese history. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Himiko In my opinion, she's a good addition as we seriously need a new female for this game. Plus she's cute and pretty. Her moves look quite cool, that things fire fireballs. Cool, flying cannons ^_^. I really like her now  (although I was hoping for Nezha and Erlang Shen to compete against Sun Wukong).Check out the update! |

From the Wiki Article: "Early Chinese dynastic Twenty-Four Histories chronicle tributary relations between Queen Himiko and the Cao Wei Kingdom (220-265 AD), and record that the Yayoi period people chose her as ruler following decades of warfare among the kings of Wa." Not just a connection to Chinese history, but a connection to one of the main factions in the game. Seems like a good addition to me. |

This is excellent, EXCELLENT! Himiko was the female I hoped got added to the game quite sometime ago. And she indeed has a rather strange role supporting Cao Cao in Kessen 2.

I like her design. Although I never played Kessen, it looks like she is a great addition because of her ties to both countries. ^-^ I wonder what the rock thingys are. |

Hah, I was right all along both in gender and whom the character was! She looks great, and her moveset seems utterly crazy with all the lazer beams and balls everywhere. Looks like she'll be a crazily fun character to use. My only complaint is that she reminds me a bit too much of Nene. I hope for one her voice is at least more mature than her. |

Ooo Himiko <3 I was kind of hoping it would be a dood but I am not disappointed by this add at all. Kessen II was the game that turned me into the Koei tard I am today and Himiko was a lot of fun in that. Plus she looks like she will be extremely fun to play as with all the crazy beam spam <3 I hope she is fairly feisty like she is in Kessen II. |

Finally, a new character I'm somewhat familiar with. As does everyone here, I remember her from Kessen II. I hope she'll be fun to play with. (Now all they need to do is add Liu Bei's friend from Kessen II, Mei Sanninag, into a Warriors game and I'll be completely satisfied. Too bad there aren't any new characters left to announce.  )

I hate Shu in Kessen II and I don't really like Mei either. I always always play as Wei in the game. Super secret hidden character is going to be Yu Jin frolicking, oh so fabulously, onto the battle field as the final boss. He'll impale you with his hair then sandpaper you with his stubble. |

Mei Sanniang couldn't happen, she is only a fictional character anyway isn't she? But I'm certainly hoping Himiko is quite cunning and simply full on like her character in Kessen 2. I am quite curious as to how exactly those weapons will work though in a Warriors game. o_O |

Mei Sanniang is an odd case. In Kessen II she's based on a character named Sanniang(I think) from Chinese opera. The same character also appears in ROTK XI as a wife of Guan Suo, which is closer to the role she had in the opera's story. |

This is simply amazing. As if WO2 wasn't already looking sweet enough, it added a MUCH loved character of mine from Kessen 2. I was totally wrong to judge the silhouette and I admit that in full. Whether or not she has the same personality or magic abilities or anything is completely moot. The fact that THAT is Himiko is...AH! -fan boy scream- I...am nearly at a lost for words. I'm so excited. It kinda seems odd to make her a big "surprise" by teasing us with her for two weeks. I mean..I can't imagine most people being EXTREMELY thrilled, though for me, personally, it's a freakin' dream come true. |

But something tells me she will be Da Ji's rival more than anything, which means she may end up working with Zhuge Liang. Gotta remember how much Da Ji despised Zhuge Liang after her capture. And Himiko's weapons also lead me to believe there's some connection storywise with her and Da Ji. But knowing KOEI, they just couldn't think of anything else cool at the moment. "Well, we came up with giant floating balls, why not giant floating heads?" "Create a character with floating heads as weapons, BRILLIANT!" |

Yeah, but after I posted that it said somewhere she's joining Orochi
But I agree with what I didn't hear you say. Zhuge Liang was very cool as a "villain" in WO. Hopefully they expand on that persona in future DW games as a fantasy aspect. |
