personally i dont really like the look of this character but i am glad that they added a female. and i sort of was right that she does sort of resemble a little of da ji and gracia
|

I'm not thrilled about her appearance either, but my initial excitement forced me to overlook that. And..I hope her MS doesn't suck. I know the pictures kinda say otherwise, but I am terribly concerned (as much as I CAN be about a video game) that her MS will be similar to Da Ji's. And...I just HATE Da Ji's MS. Also G.O.W., as WO taught us, just because she's is initially on his side, doesn't mean she will stay there. Hopefully she'll join our heroes in taking down Orochi. |

personally i feel koei have been lazy i mean take dw5xl and sw2xl for example they havent even put caw moe or something like destiny mode in sw2xl and yet look how long we have had to wait for it you would think that there would have been more wouldnt you??? |

Not to upset Ryan-san but that is exactly what I first thought when seeing her. I said to myself, "I bet that is exactly what Da Qiao will look like if they put her into XL." |

The eye of the beholder my friend. The eye of the beholder... Personality says a lot by the way, and we don't know Himiko's. (On a side note, even after DW3, 4, 5, WO, and all of the spin offs...we really don't know Da Qiao's either. :lol: ) And G.O.W., as much as I LOVE Wu, I'd rather be ignorant to any lazy designs or ideas from Koei. I like to think Himiko is important enough to simply be designed from scratch. Besides...that's not what Da Qiao looks like in Xiao Qiao's DW6 art. Though, that might not mean anything. |

:lol: Had a feeling you might say that earlier. But you're right, she's important enough she deserves better than a recyled cut design. And as pointed out already, some see the Gracia elements in there too. But in each of the new characters (except SW2XL additions) you can point out some elements of cut and paste. |

It's not often someone can get me to concentrate conversation based on one/both of the Qiao's. Good job G.O.W. I wonder if Himiko will have a crush on Cao Cao. It'd be GREAT to see a powerful rival like her, chasing a serious and stern man like Cao Cao. I can only imagine his reaction. I haven't seen Nu Wa rubbin' up on the Lord of Wei! I suppose that means Koei considers her and Fu Xi as siblings, not a couple. Either that or..Nu Wa's not a loyal Goddess. Maybe that can create a fissure between Nu Wa and Himiko, and one between Cao Cao and Fu Xi. Good going Cao Cao...piss off the Gods. |

Nu Wa FTW ... no one can compete with her shmexiness  If she is going to be on Orochi's side and Da Ji more or less using her as a puppet, then I can imagine some decent dialog between her and Da Ji ... which is a good thing since Da Ji had one of the better English VAs I just wonder how Orochi's story is going to begin, i.e. which characters you will start his story with

Same here Honda. I mean, I seriously doubt that they'd ever let us start with someone as strong as Orochi. My guess is that he'll start with Kiyomori and two other people who decided to remain loyal to him. With Da Ji as a possiblity of being one of those two. @TheRyanHimself: Me too. In fact, I hope that we get to see every single character in at least one CG movie. Even if thye don't say a word. Like how on the endings most of the people just looked on, not even opening their mouths. |

This is awesome!! I was a little iffy about her choice of weapons though... looks a lot like a Da Ji remake IMO, only younger Hey... um... if what is true about color swaps AND model costumes, could Himiko have her Kessen II costume or a totally new redesigned costume? |

Reexamining Himiko, I'm almost sure now that she's based on the characters from Touhou. The style of dress reminds me of Reimu a bit, and the DANMAKU FILLS THE SKY OMG attacks are quite telling as well. I think SHUMA would know more about this. |
