Good luck for doing it ^^ By the way, thanks for Shin Orochi's moveset description, Shin Orochi seems powerful even if he has a small moveset XD His design is great with his white hair (Orochi leave his hat to become "True" XD) & his black color, but I prefer Orochi's Blue/Red/Dark color. Orochi's Black&White clone ?

He's very strong. All attacks are strong. His SS attack is much stronger than the original. Glad they kept the JC and JA since they are both powerful. His R1 is better than Orochi's R1 ans so is the end of his S string. He's basically a better version of Orochi. He has not only the same voice, but the same quotes. Keiji, Da Ji, and Dong Zhuo say the same praise quotes as they do with the original. |

Story wise, I've come to understand that Orochi wished to die knowing he fought and was bested by the best warriors, humanity has to offer. I guess, like Lu Bu, I've gained a bit respect for Orochi, or maybe I'm liking the bad guys more these days heh. His return and revival should have been a bit more epic. |

Heh, so I've only had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Shin Orochi in Sekigahara, Samurai Story. I waltz right into the enemy main camp with my team of Sakon, Yukimura & Musashi and proceed to start beating the crap out of his supporting cast, while getting in a few shots at him here and there  Then, he hits Sakon (I think) with his C3 WTFBLASTERBEAMFROMHELL and I watch as the life bar disappears  It didn't go red, it just went from green to GONE :shock: So, Sakon's just lying face down on the ground with less than a fraction of life left, and I'm left staring at the screen for a few seconds with one of those "open-mouthed-WTF" expressions ... I managed to scrape Sakon's remains off the floor and quickly switch to Musashi before he finished the job, but that gave me quite the scare for a moment. He must've got me caught in a corner with that thing

Don't ever let him corner you or you'll be in trouble >_> even on chaos. Though he's easy to pick off since WO2 seriously lowered the difficulty of Orochi/Shin Orochi in WO2 compared to WO1 >_>. Which reminds me, today I was playing as him and did his R1, but it did go into the orb thingy and attack, instead the opponent was hit with damage WHILE he did that ashura warp thingy Akuma has. Weird no? |

Yea, I thought it was going to be really easy since he had already hit one of my characters with his JC and nothing much really happened ... I didn't expect anything like what I posted earlier.

Not only that but watch out when he gets you in his musou drain attack. He can spam that even while your musou is gone and you can't move. It's incredibly cheap -.-. |

Until I use him in actual form, I leave a few words... His R1 attack is extremely painful (killed me 3 times, lucky I saved) and his C1 pisses me off when I'm about to finish him with a Triple Attack... |

Uhhh. I don't have proficiencies to get Dream 27 and unlock Orochi X. I don't know how many more.   Of course he will be powerful. But his beam attack owned me at Sekigahara playing as Nene. I was playing Nene at level 81 and went to finish off Shin Orochi. And then I was dragged to the wall with his beam attack then I landed on the wall and then dead character.  I can't believe he would be powerful on walls.

The weapons he uses are the same as the one Orochi uses, but for example, if you just unlocked Shin Orochi and your Orochi has his 4th weapon, Shin Orochi won't have it and just start with his basic weapon... |

Except for the obvious name similarities and weapons, Orochi and Orochi X are counted as 2 different characters ^^ Just like what Oblivion just said. |

Isn't Shin Orochi's weapon stronger though? - Orochi 4th weapon base attack is 97 - Shin Orochi 4th weapon base attack is 100 Anyone who actually unlocked him can confirm?

I didn't see this in the other pages, so I'll put it here. To those who wonder if you can have Shin Orochi and Orochi in the same team... YOU CAN: this is simply a pic to reflect his badassery xD  *SPOILER ALERT* Shin Orochi is the reborn Orochi, back to plunge the world into chaos. Kiyomori had attempted to reawaken the Serpent King early, but created a weakened copy instead. To fully awaken him, he needed the help of Himiko, who is the descendant of the Goddess of Light. The amount of power she carries is more than enough to fully resurrect Orochi, and with Da Ji's help, Kiyomori succeeds, though is killed in the process. With the exception of the Orochi Story, Shin Orochi is the boss in every story's final stage.*END SPOILER ALERT* Worry not, players: There is no significant change in difficulty between Story Mode and Dream Mode. Hope this reassures any doubts you have. |

Actually this was known a few days it was out in Japan  And I remember saying Orochi and Shin Orochi are counted as different characters except for name and weapons. >_>
