When switching with different characters, their avatar portraits will actually revolve in a circular motion. Technique Type characters no longer emanate a red aura when using an enchanced charge attack with R1. The way the story synopsis is presented has become more smooth and fluid. The timer actually appears while your playing the game. (In the first game, it would only appear if 10 minutes were left remaining....) It's true that there are lags in this game, but it's not really bothersome at all. Xiao Qiao finally has her hair ornament shown in her avatar portrait this time. (I wonder why they never showed it before in the previous Musou Orochi game?) Okuni plays a major role in the Battle of Kanegasaki as she manages to persuade Goemon to join Wu's Forces. She even has a special fight scene with Dong Zhuo. In Ginchiyo's Dramatic Mode Stage, be sure to rescue No in order to hear a funny conversation between the two of them. (Can you imagine Ginchiyo being called cute by No in a seductive manner?) The background music in the Battle of Itsukushima is superb! It sounds so majestic! You definitely have to hear it to believe it!

Special thanks to Gai for the sig! In the beginning, there are only three available, but as you unlock even more characters, several teams will become playable in Dramatic Mode. More Random Facts Both of Nu Wa's R1 attacks seem to be ice elemental. Her stationary R1 attack summons a heavenly blizzard that not only freezes her opponents, but also shrinks them to oblivion. Her other R1 attack involves her stabbing any nearby enemies multiple times with an ice-enchanted rapier. (It almost resembles her old Musou Attack in DW3!) Orochi's boar generals seem to enjoy being defeated for some reason.... (I wonder.... Are they masochists or something?) Horses in this game are a lot faster this time around. DW characters can no longer stomp or jump while riding a horse. Some R1 attacks (particularly Ginchiyo's) have become a lot more sluggish to use in the heat of battle. |

So it's best to do Dramatic Mode later when you unlock all of the characters so you can play all of them in one go? I plan to work on the Wiki article of Maou Sairin, so do you know any of the stories and prologues of the 5 factions? |

Not really.... I'm still trying to understand the story little by little as I continue to unlock more characters and stages. By the way, I could use some help here.... I really need someone to help me organize the info posted in this topic. Here's some incomplete information on one of the Dramatic Mode Stages. I'll try to finish it up soon.... Dramatic Mode Stage Team: Ginchiyo Tachibana, Xing Cai and Imagawa Yoshimoto Stage: Chen Cang Forces: Coalition Army & Toyotomi Army VS Sun Quan Army Objectives: Defeat Sun Quan. More Random Facts In the Battle of Si Shui Gate, be sure to encounter Diao Chan with Kunoichi to activate a special fight scene between them. There's a lot more dialogue going on in the intermission scenes. Old music tracks from previous DW and SW games can be heard in several of the Dramatic Mode Stages. |

Here's a few more pieces of info that I've found: More Random Facts In the Battle of Shizugatake, Zhang He is conflicted but determined to face his former master Yuan Shao. Juggernaut units make a return in this sequel. Yuan Shao seems to have special dialogues with Ginchiyo Tachibana. Diao Chan seems to have special dialogues against Motochika Chosokabe. Speaking of Diao Chan, it seems that she's still a part of the Orochi Army along with Lu Bu and Dong Zhuo. (How disappointing.... I really wanted her to stay with the good guys.)

I know.... It's quite a shame. Oh well.... By the way, here's some more info regarding Nu Wa: More Random Facts Xiahou Yuan seems to have special dialogues with Nu Wa. Nu Wa's R1 multiple thrust attack is one of the most useful moves in the game. Not only does it have a very high chance of freezing nearby enemies, it actually doesn't consume any Musou at all. It's also very effective against speedy opponents like Sun Wukong. |

Shin Orochi is one that definitely needs a requirement to unlock. He IS the main antagonist, so it wouldnt make sense if he was unlocked so easily. |

I wouldnt be surprised if there wasnt any free mode.. If it was like WO1, Then after beating the story mode once, you should be able to use any character on any stage.. |

Hi everyone. Here are some more teams that I unlocked on Dramatic Mode. Dramatic Mode Jiang Wei, Lu Xun and Sakon Shima (Intelligent Fighters) Katsuie Shibata, Cao Ren and Sun Jian (Adamant Protectors) Sun Ce, Toshiie Maeda and Pang De (Valiant Heroes) Diao Chan, Zhang He and Motochika Chosokabe (Refined Performers) Sun Shang Xiang, Oichi and Da Qiao (Beautiful Challengers) Also, I found more random pieces of info as well: More Random Facts The ending credits show some of the characters performing their old victory stances from DW5 and SW2. Most of the stages in Story Mode take a lot longer to finish since you have to complete several missions in order to reach the enemy commander. Da Ji and Himiko share a close bond with one another. |

Oh yay. Long Stages = More fun in my opinion. And does anyone know what you can carry over? Someone said that levels carry over, which is incredibly stupid because then theres like no effort into getting your characters to Lv99. |

Actually, the only thing that carries over from Musou Orochi are the levels of the abilities that you can equip. Also, here's a bit more info from the game: Dramatic Mode Zhuge Liang, Zhou Yu and Shingen Takeda (Unparalleled Geniuses) Kenshin Uesugi, Guan Yu and Xu Huang (Masters of War) More Random Facts Sakon Shima's mobile R1 attack shoots out purple lightning instead of gold. There are a total of 53 music tracks found in the game. If you have a fast horse, you can easily catch up to Da Ji and Himiko in the Battle of Ji Province and defeat them quickly to end the stage. |

Getting more 'bang for your buck' in a sequel game is really boring. Im glad they didnt make EVERYTHING carried over from WO1 to WO2, Otherwise the game would get really boring if you dont actually attempt to unlock things the right way. This is just my opinion, so yeah <__< and 53 Music Tracks? Thats less then what WO1 had XD. Oh well, I hear that the new BG music is very well done. |

Here's a few more information: Dramatic Mode Cao Pi, Guan Ping and Gracia (The Three Progenies) Goemon Ishikawa, Okuni and Meng Huo (Unusual Trio) Dong Zhuo, Magoichi and Kunoichi (Free-Willed Mavericks) More Random Facts In the Battle of Edo Castle, defeat Ina with Sun Shang Xiang to see a special cut scene on how they became friends. Some of the shockwave attacks of the DW characters (like Guan Ping and Lu Bu) are now capable of inflicting elemental damage. |
