Ma Chao's faithul steed Posts: 77 Group: Members Member #17,531 Joined: August 15, 2008	Personally I hated Zhang Fei at 1st sight because of his fatness and his slowness. But as soon I started using him, he's an ok character. My 4th fav in the 5 tiger general (better than huang zhong). one of the bad things about him is because he's a drunk. His weapon is unbelieveablely strong and i can't believe his 4th weapon is actualy stronger than Guan Yu's! I don't think he has the right to be compared to Lu Bu or Honda though He is still way better than Liu Bei!!

The fact hes drunk is one thing I like, its a part of his personality anyways... In the novel at least, Zhang Fei was considered the only one to be even close to equaling Lu Bu in battle, the second Guan Yu... so its no surprise to me his weapon is that powerful... :lol: The first time I saw Zhang Fei in DW2, I was turned off by his looks but in DW4 his character was more established and I began to think of him as my favorite character... both game and novel. Me brother told me everything in the novel when I was 7 before we got the game and Zhang Fei was the first person I could remember by name rather than nickname, Zhang Fei being known as "The Butcherman" :lol: Thanks for posting all of you...

Left General Posts: 738 Group: Members Member #10,791 Joined: November 3, 2007	Zhang Fei has always been one of my fav characters overall he is a cool character his moveset is cool nobody can stand against me when i being him i have liked him since dw2 he was strong and brave and did use his head sometimes Zhang He figured that out in history and others i think have u noticed in sw2 at the start of one of Tadakatsu Hondas' mission it compaires him to Zhang Fei the legendary Chinese warrior

Through Light, Through Darkness Posts: 1,331 Group: Moderators Member #11,841 Joined: December 12, 2007 Gender Male	The similarities lie at the Battle of Mikatagahara where Tadakatsu I think acted as the vanguard or something to defend Ieyasu, similar to Zhang Fei in that he couldn't be stopped... basically like Zhang Fei, he can be titled as a guardian...

I don't like much his movesets even though they are very poweful. I only like his hot-tempered personality and I like watching his cutscenes at the Battle of Chang Ban where he stops Cao Cao forces from passing the Chang Ban bridge

Posts: 3,673 Group: Members Member #4,250 Joined: November 19, 2006	Zhang Fei has alway been an enjoyable character to use. He has some great moves which can be effective since it makes him a great crowd clearer because of his C3 and C4 attack. The same thing can be said about his in DW6. He can also be an enemy that can get on your nerves especially facing him at Chang Ban since he is always in hyper mode.
