Posts: 3,641 Group: Members Member #9,265 Joined: August 19, 2007 Gender Male	For me, the final scene of Katsuie accepting that he should move on with "the era", essentially was pushing his apprentice Toshiie away and toasting to the deceased Nobunaga in a burning castle where he was also allowing himself to die. What about Oichi...?

I was like... omg... sniffle Toshiie and Katsuie were both pretty strong for me as well. I'm just gonna combine theirs.

I'm just attached to Oda-sama. 3) Where Saika died in Hideyoshi's arms. Other than the fact my disc froze there, the scene was heart-wrenching.

I expected him to beat up Hideyoshi but unfortunetly, KOEI decided to cencor his "violent" ending :mellow:.

_root.admin Posts: 0 Group: Admins Member #1 Joined: August 11, 2005	Don't know if you realized or not, SW2 CG cutscenes are the best comparing with old SW1 and other DW CG cutscenes, it's because it's directed by famous director, I think KOEI hired him just to do SW2 CG that's why it's very outstanding.

No, but seriously, you get the likes of Zhuge Liang's DW5 ending, even his DW6 last events are sad, but they are not that sad compared to Oichi's. Oichi's had the music which was also unsettling. So I think without the music it wouldn't of had such a great effect on us.

Though I have felt sad before, on two endings. I occasionally feel sad, not all the time. Mitsuhide's ending, Nobunaga watching over him, and what he said before. Nobunaga, shed a tear for Mitsuhide? He's much more like Mitsuhide's new Ranmaru. Those two were just sad for me. With an exception of minor ones.

Although I did get a little upset at Oichi's ending. Poor Nagamasa, I didn't care much for Oichi, it was just him I was bothered about. Also the cutscene where he killed himself really shocked me. Then there were Nobunaga's and Mitsuhide's endings, they were a little upsetting too. Heck even Nobunaga cried in his ending =P And perhaps Toshiie's. That was very emotional but like I said I don't cry.

Sergeant Posts: 17 Group: Members Member #13,676 Joined: February 29, 2008	i never cried but there were some super sad stuff. like when i beat Magoichi's story i saw him die...i was so upset.....and then i played with Hideyoshi next and i was soooo happy when i saw his ending. Saika was somebody that i hated just by looking at him, i judged a book by it's cover and i was completely wrong....he was nothing like i thought he would be. like mentioned above, the moment where Oda said to Mitsuhide "I would have liked to have seen the world you would create." i'm on mitsuhide's side and when i heard Oda say that, it made me feel different about him.

Posts: 736 Group: Members Member #6,352 Joined: March 27, 2007 Gender Male	i agree with LittledragonZ for oichi's ending the music doesn't help the moment it makes it even more heart breaking, i didn't cry but was close to as she is my favourite SW2 female and it was really upsetting seeing her cry for Nagamasa (one of my favourites of the whole game) Also Magoichi's ending has the same music and i did cry on that one its just the way Hideyoshi cries for him when he dies 'MAGOICHIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' was really upsetting Toshiie's is the same that it was very emotional but i was annoyed like LoW that his ending was censored i wanted to see him beat up Hideyoshi unleashing his feelings Kojiro's is slightly sad in that his rival is dead but he's upset as he was the only one who understood his passion for blood Mitsuhide's and Nobunaga's are quite sad as well some endings aren't amazing but there are ones like Oichi and Magoichi that have emotion in them and i think it is really well done

("death" because he doesn't really die according to Masamune's Story) ((slightly upset because as LoW said, real men don't cry)) =] Nobunga's as well. I actually thought that she was too good for a self-absorbed twit like Nagamasa and she could find someone better (like Katsuie who drove home a few delicious insults about Nagamasa in his Odani stage :D). But I did choke up at Magiochi's ending. I have a soft spot for happy-go-lucky guys with a reluctant noble streak, and poor Magoichi's story in SW2 sees him becoming more and more depressed until he found salvation (and release in the form of death) in Yamazaki. The cutscene that really made me cry is Oichi's ending in Sengoku Basara 2: Heroes, but that's probably off-topic!

Seeing Nobunaga shed a tear for Mitsuhide made me all emotional! My fiance was also affected by these endings, although he probably wouldn't admit it! :lol: Magoichi's ending was also pretty upsetting too.

Oichi's was also sad, but then I expected it would happen, but it's still one of the most tragic endings if not the most.

General Posts: 332 Group: Members Member #15,022 Joined: April 25, 2008 Gender Male	i pretty much shed tears on most of the movies becaus i am soo into the game. sasaki's last movie made me teary when ocihi heald the dead nagamasa that made me cry. when hideyoshi got beat up by maeda that made me lumpy in my throught i enjoy the samurai and dynasty games so much i pretty much think i am them while i am playing so yes i do cry at cutscenes.. sorry men shouldn't cry but well i am an emotional man. guah ha ha..
