Download Guitar Warriors v2.0: http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=a7f2689...0cba54da390c8eb

*Fixed some chart problems

Instructions: To unpack volumes you need to start extraction from the first volume. If volumes are stored on non-removable media like a hard disk, you need to put all volumes in the same folder before starting extraction. All of this needs to be done with WinRAR, so if you don't have it just google "download winrar" and get it. There is a text file labeled "readme" included in the package. Please read this before starting your burn, thank you. If you need any help just post it in the "Game Help" thread at http://www.freewebs.com/nragemachine/guitarwarriorsforum.htm

I haven't been getting too many downloads here and would like to remind any who are unaware that the game is ready for download in the quote above thank you.

Has anybody played this yet? I was hoping to get some hands-on feedback. All you need to do is burn it and play it, it's that simple. I hoped that you guys would play this, it took forever to make.

I don't have GH: 80s, but I'm thinking I might port this over to Frets on Fire(link).

EDIT
Nevermind, Im a idiot. This is the whole game not just the images and files.

This version doesn't require you to have sny GH game. You just need to download, burn, and play! The other version is at the Guitar Warriors site, which you can add bonus content to. Let me know how it goes, if you have questions don't hesitate to ask.

Cool, the link is posted a few posts back. Just remember that your PS2 has to be able to play burned games either with a modchip or Swap Magic, which is really cheap.

Why not? If you don't have amodded PS2 just get a paypal account and buy swap magic. It is only less than $30 and well worth the purchase. Not only can you play modded games, but you can play burned games and japanese, european, american, whatever it will work!

Hey, is this still up for download? I got a couple of questions to ask.

1. The old original post said I need Rock the 80's, but can it work for say... Guitar Hero 3? I was able to borrow all the GH discs (except World Tour) from my friend.

2. What specific type of disc would I exactly need to burn all of them on?

^Actually for this version here (A KW exclusive) all you have to do is download and burn, no game required. It comes with instructions.

Ok, so for clarification, I need to get a DVD-R? I plan to get a disc before I start all the downloading and putting it on the disc.

Absolutely correct. Also your PS2 must be able to play burned games. If you don't have a modded PS2, it is quite inexpensive to do so, either by modchip or Swap Magic.

Well, I've had mine modified a long time ago, so no problem there.

Never realized there would be so much to download though.

Well it is an entire PS2 game. You gotta figure on average they are about 3Gb's or more. Keep me up to date on your modification, I'd like to hear how that goes.

Well, I've hit a bit of a setback. My hard drive is caput, and I can't access my PC without it abruptly restarting itself.

With my College graduation coming up as well, I don't think I'll have the disc prepped and playable until 2 weeks from now at least. The only good thing is the fact that an unused DVD-R has been lying around my house for a while, so that saves me the trouble of buying one myself.

Oh, sorry about your computer man. I know how that crap goes. Hope your graduation thing goes smoothly and when you do finally get things working I will be anxious to hear how it went.

Alright, with my PC back, I'm continuing the downloads. Only like 4 parts left to download. Hopefully it will work, otherwise I've wasted a DVD-R.

If the instructions are followed to the letter there should be no problems, but I hope it goes well for you. I remember when I got my first GH mod to work, before I couldn't get it to work, but I tried again and popped my custom disc into the PS2, quite literally holding my breath. But when the game logo appears on your screen a sense of peerless joy and excitement washes over you.
