Dangit, for some reason, Part 9 just aint downloading for me right now. It's the only one I still have to download. So freaking close...

What really pisses me off is the error message that pops up when I try to download it again:

The key you provided for file download was invalid. This is usually caused because the file is no longer stored on Mediafire. This occurs when the file is removed by the originating user or Mediafire

What the hell is up with that? The files are in fact NOT removed by Mediafire or you, so what gives with their servers?

At any rate, approximately how long is the burn on the disc?

Ok, I downloaded part 9. I read the readme, but I just need to clarify.

1. Only the iso's in all 11 parts need to be extracted?
2. Burn using Nero?
3. Burn at 4X or 8X?
4. Burn the images of the iso's on the disc?

Here's the readme, but as I've never done this before, I'm not entirely sure what to do:

Here is the Guitar Warriors iso for the game. What you need to do is burn it to a dvd and make sure that your PS2 is properly modded, either with a chip or Swap Magic. When you burn the game use a program with the option to "burn the iso image to disc", like Nero or Imgburn. DO NOT BURN A DATA DVD, YOU NEED TO BURN THE IMAGE TO THE DISC!!! It is recommended that you use Sony or Verbatim Dvd-r's for best results. Dvd+r's work sometimes too and Memorex is a good choice as well. Burn your game at 4X or 8X speed to ensure a good burn, then you are ready to play.

IN THIS VERSION THE INTRO VIDEO WILL LOCK UP, SO WHEN THE GAME STARTS AND THE INTRO VIDEO BEGINS PLAYING, SKIP THE VIDEO BY PRESSING THE GREEN FRET BUTTON OR IF YOU ARE USING A DUALSHOCK CONTROLLER HITTING X OR START. IF YOU DO NOT SKIP THE INTRO, THE GAME WILL FREEZE!!!

PLEASE READ BEFORE BURNING...

Instructions:

1. When you download all the parts you need to unpack them using WinRAR. To unpack volumes you need to start extraction from the first volume. So just double click on the first volume and it should open up in WinRAR. If volumes are stored on non-removable media like a hard disk, you need to put all volumes in the same folder before starting extraction. All of this needs to be done with WinRAR, so if you don't have it just google "download winrar" and get it.

Here let me amend it chronologically.
You can burn at either 4x or 8x, I burn with 8x because I use sony DVD+R's. You just need to burn at a slow speed to ensure that it is a good burn. So I recommend 4x or 8x, whichever.

Alright, burn done.

GAME WORKS!

I've been doing the songs on medium so far, everything seems fine.

EDIT: Finished the career on medium, here are my thoughts.

This is the first REAL GH experience I've ever had, by the final song (Magnificent Show-DW6), my hands were aching like hell. The song choices were good, noticed that roughly more than half are from DW4, which is good, a lot of the tracks in that one were riff heavy.

The funny thing is, I haven't finished Rocks the 80's prior to this, and when I popped in RT80's after I beat GW, I found that RT80's was beaten as well.

Awesome job, I'd get some vids up if I could, but I'm at a complete blank there.

Another one would be great to play, especially if it's based off GH3.

Actually it is possible to put the songs on GH3, of course you would have to know what you were doing. I am very glad to hear that it works for you.
Here is DW6's Slash The Demon on GH3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bM-1VeJw_p8

I use a gamebridge to record my game, but you can just record with a digital camera too.

Sometime I may make more. There are plenty more DW songs that would be fun to chart. I forgot to mention that to keep your scores for GH:80's separate from GW you have to start a new band.

And for more videos of DW music on GH3 you can check out Finalizer's Youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/finalizer0
