Now you can go in because it's early morning and everyone is sleeping in China, I believe this site might be very crowded again on this Saturday and Sunday daytime in Asia KOEI EU might need to upgrade their server or host it on gamecity or something SJD and TCSS (TinyCaterpillar) both were there and yay KW site and forum are there 2 together!! EDIT: According to superDioplus... BTW the quality of Warriors games on PC seems to actually WORSEN. The graphics of SSM4 Special > Musou Orochi > SW2, which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. DW5 Special had the best lighting and dynamic shadows...and this game seems to only have bloom effects, and the textures make my eyes bleed. <_<

It can depending on the time I suppose. The problem was that so many in China were downloading the demo, which made it very hard for others to (different time zones). I was on the site at lunch here and it was working fine, though a bit slow, but my internet connection is nothing to be proud of. Its okay, don't worry!

I have a 8600 GT graphics card and you can definitely tell the difference when playing the game. If you have Vista and a DX10 graphics card you will notice a glow effect that makes the game look smoother/brighter. I turned up the graphics on super high, 16x AA and the visuals were pretty good, but not the best. The problem with the demo is that its configured with frame-based rendering which puts a limit on FPS. So if you have done the System Checker and the demo you will see that the System checker has much better FPS and less slowdown time. When the game is released I'm sure it will be a lot easier to play. I give the graphics 7/10. They're not perfect, but it's a big improvement from the console versions. Must have a decent computer setup to see the difference.

Must have a decent computer setup to see the difference. Bloom is the lazy developer's solution to crappy textures. It's unrealistic and overdone in a lot of games, but that's not the problem here. Like I said earlier, it seems that the dynamic shadows and lighting of earlier DW PC games are actually BETTER than this new release, which is absurd. SW2 PC seems to ONLY have bloom as an effect. At least if they bump and normal mapped their amazingly flat ground, it might seem semi-decent. So far DW Online is Koei's best looking game to date. How sad.

But I agree with you that it is weird that DW5: Special has superior graphics to this from what I have seen...
