The Warn Level indicator tells you if you've received a warning for violation of the Board Rules (which you haven't yet, so it shouldn't show anything right now)

I've actually tweaked Samurai Warriors 2 graphics with the EnB Series and make some good progress but the only problem was the bloom effect because when I turned up the bloom on to 1 at the enbseries.ini it shines really bright, but other than that the color looks wicked and here is the example:

Samurai Warriors 2 EnB Series 1

Samurai Warriors 2 EnB Series 2

Samurai Warriors 2 EnB Series 3

Samurai Warriors 2 EnB Series Gamefront Download

Don't forget to press Shift and F12.

It's interesting how this was the only Sengoku Musou game that was released in Traditional Chinese.

EDIT: Well actually, any Sengoku game because Basara was never bothered to be translated...

Sorry for buming thread, but somebody explain

Why SW2 slows so much on computer...errr laptop

Here;s settings ive set

Resolution 640 x 480
Full-screen OFF(I dont see diffrence when set on)
Characters FEW
Fog Distance NEAR
Anti-Aliasing OFF
Texture Fillter LOW
Dynamic Shadows OFF
Dynamic Lightning OFF
Shaders LOW

Anyway game runs normally sometimes then slowsdown.

Thats strange for me, I got too PC version of Warriors Orochi and DW 6, i set same settings and....games are fully playable.

I Turned all programs in background screen, dont helps so much, i got 50gb free space on HDD so....?

Since I got this game as a gift from my brother I've been playing it and I was impress that this game even existed, And all the game that I have been playing were only RPG's.

Thank you KOEI for making this game and my love for japanese history, Started playing as Yukimura and he's an awesome character to play as and I've manage to get him to level 33 since I have been playing him on Free mode and Story mode. Haven't played the other characters tho but I'm sure that they'll be great.

Best KOEI game ever.

Has got the best stories, the best stages, the best weapons, the best OSTs, the best menus, etc.

I love everything about it.

I agree with you :hehe:

This is the only game of Koei's that I still play now and then, even after it's been out for nearly a decade already.

Really? You can still play this game?

I literally completed everything there is to do in this game. I can't see a reason to ever play it again, even if I still had it, other than level up all those bodyguards

Although, I do miss the superior SW2 Sekigahara battle :sly:

I'd probably play for about 5min before I switch to something newer :hehe:

I play it sometimes as well! Maybe because I have good memories with it. It has got epic battles and most stories are interesting.

I never turn down playing as Yukimura in Osaka and Nagashino! :P With level 4 weapon, max abilities and skills and epic OSTs.

Aww, I miss it already. Should play a stage or two soon. ^_^

+ It has got Persian Mare and Moon Child.

Oh yes :D

I have completed and obtained everything possible a long time ago already, yes, but that doesn't mean there's no reason to play the game anymore. I just enjoy replaying some story stages, watching cutscenes and playing through a few rounds of Sugoroku with 5000g/10000g setting. Even Survival Mode is still fun at times. Sometimes I don't even import SW2XL data because I enjoyed the small cast of vanilla SW2.

I also do the same with first Samurai Warriors, albeit less often because that game hasn't aged well, gameplay-wise.

TBH I mainly still play these two games for nostalgia reasons.

Oh I'd play the heck out of the first SW + XL. I casually played that one and left so much to do before moving on to SW2 :ph43r:

SW2 generation of games I've played out through SW2, SW2XL, WO, and WO2 on both PS2 and PSP versions (for the WO games). So I've seen enough of that gen

I could totally go for a round or two of Sugoroku though :sly:

Sugoroku mini-game is great, it's the perfect mix of skill and luck ^_^ However, some of the challenges are annoying because I suck at them, particularly Reveal.

I tend to use Hideyoshi in that mode because he's fast, has long range in his weapon and his home square is in the perfect place.

Similar experience with Ieyasu. As I recall, something about him made the mode easier, despite him not being all that great of a character, gameplay-wise (IMO) ... Though I can't remember what it was that made it easier :asia:

Yeah, Ieyasu is slow, but he has the advantage of shooting cannonballs that have a long reach. That makes him excellent in some of the challenges, like the one where you have to break walls (you can shoot afar and avoid getting struck by explosions of "wrong" walls), and also where you have to slay fleeing enemies.

Magoichi has a similar skill, but oddly it has a short reach and weird hitbox.
