Im definately buying this before WO2 and SW2XL...Ive been watching the cutscenes and I have become infatuaited with it...just like I was before the original WO was gonna come out...

I wonder if you can (and How XDDD) you can use a PS2 controller on the Computer...

Like Sera said an adapter should work. You can also opt to use a Ps3 controller cause all you need is to install a driver and then just run it once when you have the controller connected to the computer.

A PC controller/Joypad, which can be found in Bestbuy, Future Shop, EBgames, or any other computer store.

no changes, no addition of removed char or new movelist anything like that, downloadable, but i won't waste money on it. If it got some good change and can be used by my computer(which i think it well as i had brand new and perfect one, it run orochi on highest graphic, alot of troop and far fog display easily), i definately buying it, ans the modding is always fun, probably someone will come up with enginius idea to port this into WO PC version.

Cool, i might get the game then, by the way, how much MB/GB is on this game?

Definetely will cost a lot of GB in your PC. WO needs around 5 GB in my PC, and I have to install in to Duo Core for it to run smoothly, plus with high RAM...This one definetely would require high requirements..

You're welcome =), and don't worry, the game is for Windows Vista and XP.

As for the requirements, KOEI usually lists them for every PC game, we just have to wait a bit. I'm curious about them, too =).

Have KOEI announced the release date?

According to Gamecity and Shin Sangokumusou 5 official site, the Japanese PC version will be released in July 2008 ^_~.

Yes I do hope that it is available in English version too. I can only play PC-based game from now on. And the requirements.... I'd have to buy a new HD... and a new graphic card...

That's impossible.

I don't think so
I am using Geforce 6600 PCI-E VGA with 256MB Memory (non GT), CPU is Pentium D 805, max setting and the game run very well :D

If it's a shitty port, then maybe requirements might be high, like Assassin's Creed. But Koei's ports seem to be pretty midrange friendly, so I'm expecting it could play nicely on mediocre cards like the 8600gt, etc -- and probably on laptops too with equivalent cards.

But still...they imported this from PS3 into PC. I still think this would have high requirements, just like the usual PS3 and XBox's games that are ported use to be..

You don't have to worry. As long as you can run WO, I believe they downgraded it so you could play it on your PC :)

But please beware and don't break your keyboard because the RENBU system is not good for one or two buttons on your keyboard.

I guess :D . Maybe we have to get a controller pad for that...

But if it's downgraded...then it won't be as good as the one in PS3?

Like I said, only crappy ports have high system requirements, like Assassin's Creed. Most multi-plat games are actually simultaneously developed, so it's not worth comparing stuff like Call of Duty or Bioshock. The problem, however, is that most console ports these days ARE in fact, shitty ports. But nevertheless, like I said, Koei seems to handle ports fairly nicely, so I'm expecting a good mid-range set of system requirements. Besides, Koei usually aims to appeal to a very large market, so they'd be shooting themselves in the foot if their game was meant only for high-end systems. Koei =/= Crytek.

Btw, DW6 is not visually astounding in any way. I'd say it's below current gen standards, so it's safe to say that even if Koei pushed the options to the limits, most geforce 8800 users will still probably be able to max it, and beyond. B)

Great! The low resolution. low ram requirements means that people with awful PCs like me can run this.

Also, if frame skipping is avaliable then this game will work for me even on a 64mb graphics card.
