I've made a few of these 'tribute' skins. The idea was for them to be recognizable without having to change the overall design too much. I'm not too confident with model editing, let alone want to change the model (I still want to preserve the original character designs as first costumes), so the viera ears are out of the question. I'll probably change the head guard a bit to better represent her helmet, possibly edit in her actual chest wear.

Scary thing is, Ina's face actually looks a bit like Fran now...

Very well.

Anyway, I don't know how to increase or decrease Vertices and Polygons.
It is a question.
Maybe someone can research the structure of ORCM & ORCem to solve it.

Also, is there a way to use a screenshot hotkey? To get a screengrab of Orochi at the moment, I have to defocus the window with the mouse, use printscreen through the keyboard, then switch back to the game. Next to useless if you want to get an action shot.

At the begining, jamesxin wanted to mod a Tang Sanzang, but he made a Sun Wukong finally. One day later, he made the secend Wukong mod of Lu bu.

By the way, to install those mods, extract all files to "DW\data\" folder, import ???_new.ORCM with OROCHI_FIE.exe, import ???.dds with DDS2ORCtex.exe.
To restore, import ???.ORCM, rename ???-.dds as ???.dds and import them.

Do you use a screenshot tool such as Fraps or Hypersnap-DX?
Many friends recommend Fraps. It can record video.

Ok, the meshes are getting really messed up when being imported. Here is a picture of Keiji  when being imported :

You see under his arms? When looking, its because there is a vertex in his arm welded to a vertex in the torso. Is this a problem with the importer? It also occurs on Lubu. I haven't noticed it with any weapons however.

Select the offending faces and delete them.

This is great! If only it exported the bones as well. Rigging these models is going to suck.

At least I don't have to worry about UV Wrapping the models, though. It seems that the default wrapping is what KOEI designed their skins with!

EDIT: One problem, though. It seems that 180.ORCem (Sun Ce's model) isn't compatible. I tried loading it with Edit_ORCem in 3ds max 8, and I got the error message, "ERROR:Current file is not supported in this version. Please waiting for update!"

i have made the Edit_ORCEM toolbar but somehow i cant import any model anything as the toolbar was empty & KEPT GETTING ERROR... is thr anything i did wrong ??? pls help me out or guide me cos im eager to mod the character T_T

I suggest adding it to a menu, not to the toolbar.

I keep getting the same error when I try to inport the converted model #280 (large generic officer, such as Cheng Pu).

To ykean:
Add the Edit_ORCEM button, click it to open its PANEL.
RUN MAXScript from 3DS's menu, or make it run at 3DS startup.
And then, import or export from the panel.

Is there any way to add jump canceling on charge attacks to this game? I was curious if any of these mods and trainers would allow for that, if not a similar function.

Any know how to work the battlefield editor? I don't understand what it is asking for at the start.

Also, how do I add the Edit_OCRM button in 3d MAX? I've added the scripts to the Startup folder, and so now what do I do?

Ok I got everything What you said, but I cant Import the ORCem Files in 3DS Max (2010 :cool: ). :/
No Files show up when I open the Import Window. :realangry:
And I cant seem to find that Button from the Script either. :XD
