PS: I vote for Azai! because... He has a combo set, so there are various attacks that didnt make me boring and... he has an officer killer musou! |

Sakon, of course. I love his personality, he is confident, sarcastic and knowledgeable at the same time. I also like how he has a bit of Elvis in him; it makes him more unique and stands out to me. But not just that, he is excellent in battle. His charge attacks are simple, yet very effective like his useful C4 clearing attack. And well, add that with his Cover Fire R1 attack he can be nearly impossible to defeat, and able to damage enemies even while defending attacks. Go Sakon! |

The Fool of Owari, Oda Nobunaga received my respective vote. His personality is cool. His moveset is fun to play. His lightsabre is awesome. Though his musou flying around can be annoying, but great in crowd clearing. Also, his Japanese seiyuu is one of my favorite. He got the style in speaking.... too. He is stylish. |

Gah! I can't choose between Masamune and Kanetsugu! T_T In 6 hourse I'll probably have an answer (School)...I like Masamune because he calls everyone "Imbecils(sp)" and he's cocky. But I like Kanetsugu because I actually like his honor speeches, and I like his weapon. What they both have is, I like both of their voices! XD |

This is a real tough choice...but if I really had to pick someone, I'd have to choose Mitsuhide. Why? He was the staple "Genius Swordsman" of the cast before Musashi came along. He has a great costume design, and a pretty solid personality. Overall, he has a great moveset and is a character that anyone can get into playing, mainly because he excels in almost all situations. He has his counter move special for defensive purposes, and he has plenty of offensive tools at his disposal. And if you really know how to play him, you can pull off some tricky infinites. He's also featured in 2 awesome fight scenes in his CG movies. Following closely: Shima Sakon, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Sanada Yukimura, Naoe Kanetsugu, Maeda Keiji, Maeda Toshiie, Ishida Mitsunari, Hattori Hanzo, and Miyamoto Musashi |

Oh so many to choose from. I'd probably say Mitsunari. He was the first guy I went and he's been one of my favourites ever since. I love his arrogance, it can just be plain funny at times! Quite a good moveset too and weapon. Ahh the fan
 Gorgeous design I think! He's so handsome.Not far behind are Nobunaga I do like guys like him, Hideyoshi who is exceptionally funny in my opinion, Kojiro I have a thing for vampire dudes and Nagamasa ahh he is just so..so hawt! heh :lol: I of course like many more too. |

Kanetsugu. I love him XD He's such a great character. His design is sexeh, he has a great english va (his japanese one is ok but the softer english va makes him sound kinda sweet) and his moveset is lots of fun. |

Hashiba/Toyotomi Hideyoshi (I prefer Hashiba, just for the alliteration). I was instantly enamored with him from the very first level I played in SW1, Inabayama, where he sang and danced on top of the tower. I remember yelling at my TV saying, "I HAVE to play as him!" He was definitely an odd ball in SW1/XL, and yes, something of a pedo, but his strange nuances are part of his charm. I would prefer it if in SW3 he was more like his SW1 self. I still liked him in SW2, but he was more lordly and I thought his humble peasant attire suited him better then the armor. The only thing I really liked appearance wise was the crazy sideburns. The addition of Nene only subdued his horndog personality... and yes I miss that! :lol: His attacks may be weak but I think he's incredible fun to play as... agile and quick, not to mention, the thwacking sounds his sansetsu makes is very satisfying. Also I love the little flip he does to get on his horse, which is a unique attribute that only belongs to him (I think)! So yeah, Hideyoshi is my number 1 in SW. |

i voted Yoshimoto, but it's pretty much a tie between Yoshi and Goemon. both are humorous and both are specialty characters that take a bit work to be any good with. great quirky personalities, both had good stories in SW1, and both have great weapons. Goemon is amazingly strong and useful when leveled up and i just took to Yoshimoto's MS instantly. and finally, maybe to be perverse, as few others seem to really enjoy these two the way i do. Ranmaru gets my honorable mention. he's easily my best sword character and i love his historical story, WHAT A SHAME he did not make it into SW2. such a great balanced character, i will keep my hopes up for SW3. |

Sasaki Kojiro for me as he is my overall fav Koei character.The moment i saw him on Sakons story mode in Kusegawa on SW2 i was like INSTANT FAV .I really enjoy his sadistic and psychopathic personality. |

Yukimura because he looks cool, has a solid moveset, especially c2 and c3. Kotaro becuase he attacks very fast and is sick with, i forget what the orb is called, demon or darkness orb. |

Its Yukimura with me (yes I like both cover-boys). Though I prefer Zhao Yun to him and Zhao's MS also, I still really like his heroism, appearance and story. Though I preferred his rivalry story with Ieyasu in SW1. The only real thing I would like changing about him is his musou attack. I'm really not fond of it. |

HE IS NOT A F***ING COVER BOY! and with that out of the way... I voted for Yukimura. His personality is good, much better in SW1, but still quite good in SW2, and changes throughout his story which was good. His moveset is above average, not the best, but if used correctly is very devastating. His voice is good, except in WO, again better in SW1, but SW2's did him quite well. His Specials aren't that good, though the horse calling is useful. and he is the main part of my favourite battle in any Koei game, SW1's Osaka. That battle was just so awesome, and well done  and his ending where he died, just great. |

Please Sanada, there's no need to be so aggressive. I stated my reason like that because he has appeared on two front-covers, SW and SW2. Plus, like Zhao Yun, Koei use him throughout their promotions and in the booklets as well. Thats why I said it. |
