But my laptop has Vista,and I absolutly dispise it. It blocks everything I'm trying to install,I couldn't even get photoshop on it. >.< It looks pretty neat,but that's all. I'm voting for XP.

I've just been so used to it and it had everything work well. Actually, my computer eventually had several issues. But I don't think it was from XP. Now I have Windows 7 which is great so far. It's really organized for me and I like little features like how easy it is to add programs to the taskbar.

I didn't use 98 long enough to compare, but I'll say XP >> 7. 7 is sh*t; I can't even arrange my folders the way I want, and personalize the folders view individually. D:< I miss XP.

Granted, I have yet to learn all of the things I can turn off in 7, but I really miss the administrative simplicity of XP. I have a Vista machine that was upgraded with a 7 disc and I still have XP and Arch Linux installed on it, and I'm honestly trying to use Arch Linux more and more by the second since I know XP won't be supported forever.

A major upgrade from other systems, for sure. And if you miss XP, you can always download XP Mode from the Microsoft site for free (If you have Pro or Ultimate Edition)

I would only get it if I wanted to play some new games on higher DirectX 3D than 9.0c... But Windows 7 is quite interesting, and it gives a feel of modernity, even though I find it some times filled with unnecessary stuff. For me I prefer to customize my Windows XP with some cool themes, and maybe wallpapers I make, and some addons that make it look better. So... in short: My favorite Windows is Windows XP.
