Weapon Enchantment System; What exactly is it?

I've seen a whole lot of stuff about unlocking Tenbu ingredients or whatnot, but nothing detailing exactly what Tenbu is. Can someone give me a synopsis of this?

Tenbu is an enchantment you can attach to a weapon. (In addition to eight ability slots, weapons now have three spaces for enchantment boosters.) With Tenbu, all attacks carry elements when your musou gauge is full. This makes it a god mode win button for many characters.

In order to make an enchantment, you need unlockable items (which you only have to get once) and a spare weapon with a certain set of elements. The spare weapon is turned into an enchantment item that you can attach to any weapon. Tenbu requires four unlockable items, commonly referred to as ingredients.

Which explains the word 'ten' which is heaven or sky. Man this skill is so fake that even the worst characters become so darn godly.

To sum up what it does:

Lousy characters become godly, and already godly characters become even greater than Chuck Norris.

So I guess you just put it on all your favorite characters then? Sounds good to me...

So is this replacing the personal items or perhaps just an added extra for the weapon fusion system

And is this Tenbu the only new weapon enchantment?

Come to think of it, I remember seeing a list of some sort of new weapon bonuses ages ago. Is this one of them, and does anyone have the list?

So, there's 30 enchantments, right?

What's the max number of these you can have on one person's weapon?

@Chosis - Yeah, Tenbu (天舞) is a new weapon bonus. Here's the full list. Hope the Japanese text works for you.

兵法 - Doubles duration for all item buffs
不屈 - Doubles attack damage during critical HP
旋回 - Easier air-recovery
補給 - Increases drop rates of healing items from enemies.
狙撃 - Increases arrow damage
天活 - Enables True Musou Attack regardless of HP
天陣 - Enables Team Attack regardless of HP
瀉曲 - Reduces damage taken
頑強 - Withstands damage during charge attacks
飛龍 - Allows jump-cancel of charge attacks
金甲 - Cannot be interrupted by arrows
連攜 - Enables Assist Attack with half musou gauge (normally requires full musou)
賦活 - Musou gauge will regenerate
再生 - Revives the character once after death
天舞 - When Musou gauge is full, all attacks will carry elements

@Scarmiglione - There are 15 new enchants and a total of 30 unlockable items (commonly called ingredients) required to make all of the enchants available. (Enchants are unlocked as soon as you get all of the items needed for that particular enchant, so you don't have to collect the full set of items just to get started.) You can have up to three enchants on each weapon.

Does that include charge attacks that don't activate elements normally like Cao Cao's C6 sword slashes besides the first and last slash.

Sometimes. Cao Ren's C2 is still non-elemental with Tenbu, but Diao Chan's C1 becomes elemental. I haven't tried Cao Cao, Guan Ping, Yue Ying, or anyone else with a multi-hit charge that normally doesn't activate elements on all hits.

Again, you can find your answer here: http://z13.invisionfree.com/koeiwarriors/i...showtopic=11754

Rydain provided a list of the new weapon enchantments and Chosis translated them.

If you need the translation of the original weapon attributes (the 8 slots), then you can use the Translation Guide BlackKite made for the original WO since the basic attributes have not changed.

Wow, as if the original WO weapon system was broke enough, this makes things even more awesome!

Tenbu (Divine Dance) - When Musou gauge is full, all attacks will carry elements
Now this one I like... hopefully this will make Lu Bu (who IMO was GOD AWFUL in WO) back in Godly mode... heck, all other chars who suffered having less elements in their attacks (like many of the PWR chars)

This came right from Rydain's weapon FAQ on GameFAQ.

What exactly do I need to do in order to have a setup like this? (Tenbu)

1. Get all the treasures needed to unlock Tenbu. The FAQ indexes the item unlocking requirements by item number.
2. Fuse a spare weapon with the required elements.
3. Turn the weapon into a Tenbu (Almighty) enchantment. Read the Creating and Attaching Enchantments section for instructions.
4. Attach Tenbu to your weapon of choice.
